It might just be my eyes but looks a little long and.. unwieldly. Is it very confortable to fire, shoot, and cock?

Well, i'm 6ft tall so i can still handle that blaster length quite comfortably.

As ice mentioned, users can easily customize the plunger tube lengths/diameters and draws to fit their own preferences.

Quite a fun thing to build really. Lots of tweaking, but nothing was frustrating. Im quite satisfied.








I still don't have a spring long enough for it, but everything works flawlessly, and dart fly out of the barrel by simply hand pushing the plunger forward. The plunger tube is 1 1/2" and 8 inches long, so it puts out a large volume without being to unwieldy, which also let me move the stock in a bit. The main Tee is 1" instead of 20mm, because I don't have access to mm pvc (as most of us in the us). I substituted sanded out 3/4" for the catch plate and plunger guides, works great. Nice design, thanks SG.

I know Ice used a 1/2" pvc plunger rod, which is why he is in need of a spring, because [k26] and [k25] springs won't nest over 1/2" pvc.

The aftermarket springs i use have a 25mm ID so they have the sufficient amount of clearance to fit those PVC pipe plunger rods.

That is weird, man. Our two sizes of 1/2" are CPVC with and ID of 11-13mm and OD of 15.9-16mm, or PVC with and ID of anywhere from 13-18mm and OD of 21.5mm. Stupid imperial measurements and a ridiculous pipe sizing system designed to keep plumbing knowledge exclusive to professional plumbers combine to make it difficult to locate the sizes you use.

EDIT: That was trollish of me. The spec sheet at Mcmaster suggest that they fit, but give it a try and you'll see that they don't.

Yep, the ID of the [k25] is .808. The OD of 1/2 PVC is .84

Perhaps you guys should try visiting the industrial spring manufacturers around your areas and check out their existing range of compression springs... just an example, the spring manufacturers i source my springs from in SG have more than 8,000 different springs sizes and specs available in their inventory, i go bonkers just going through their selections.

Focus on finding the industrial spring manufacturers (not just retailers or distributors), 'cos they would be able to custom make springs to your specifications too.

Once you have found local manufacturing sources for aftermarket springs, it'll be much easier to get the exact springs to match your projects.

Okay, sorry, I just remember my 1/2" PVC not fitting inside of either [k26] or [k25] springs. I don't know why, it fits over only some of my 1/2" PVC, and yes I am using K25s.

I wonder if they just supply a spring that matches the constant, because my K25s fit. Not that I would use the 1/2" PVC for this application, but it does work for me.

This is correct. I bought a k-45, and then didn't even fit.

It fits very loosely over CPVC. I don't care about theories, I own it, and it works great on 1/2 cpvc. It's OD is 1" with .092" wire diameter.

Instead of finding a single spring that would be long enough, you could find 2 or 3 shorter ones and put washers in between the springs like Carbon did on the Snap-1....it doesn't have to be a continuous spring.
