It actually is called epoxy putty, at least for some brands. The loctite brand name for it is repair putty, though. You should be able to find it at most any hardware store. Check with the adhesives. Here's a link to the ace hardware page for it so you can see what it looks like in the package.

Thankyou! I thought that might be the case but I didn't want to buy the repair putty and then discover it was a waste of money.

Was looking in the Google 3d warehouse for PVC Pipe and ran into something interesting: Formufit - they offer a wealth of PVC fittings and accessories. Prices seem slightly higher than in-store, but not unreasonable. Their PVC is more expensive but sounds nicer (it's "furniture-grade," so no markings). The most interesting (to me anyway) are the caster insert, fish-mouth connector, internal coupling, internal end caps, table cap, and slip-tee connector.

I've recently watched alot of the youtube modders using "epoxy putty" for their gun integrations. My guess is epoxy putty is more of a slang term for this product cause I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what it's really called and where I can buy it??

I found a tube of it at Wal-Mart where they have keep the gorilla glue, other epoxy adhesives, and electrical tape. For our store it is next to the paint section, though it might be different for you. I only found a small tube of it but I was able to spread it out fairly well.

The tube of epoxy putty in a size comparison with a spring powered party popper. I used the putty to make a level for the party popper (no penis jokes please, I know how it looks) to make it easier to turn. I also made a loop of it for my Tek-6 so I can prime it easier and attach it to a bandolier if I wanted, so I didn't use all of what is missing for the lever. I must say, it is a great adhesive by itself and also light.

It was also about $2 cheaper at Wal-Mart.

One site I use is Orange Mod Works. also if you follow them on facebook, twitter and subscribe on youtube you have a chance to win a free kit from them. As far as springs go, best place I have found. Springs are made to the size of each gun. perfect fit when you buy. Prices are nice also. and for brass tubing, talk to a music shop or instrument repair shop. Hince one section of instruments is called brass, they should have some if talk nicely or be able to point in the direction of where you get it.

Although this is not exactly a WHERE TO BUY post, I belive it is fairly important information regarding a product. Do NOT buy the OMW vulcan upgrade spring. I bought one, and after fireing a few belts, the plunger rod snaped in half.

Tired of reaming your hopper barrels for hours with a pair of scissors? This drill bit set from Harbor Freight will do the job.

Is there a difference between the petg sold by any of these retailers mentioned?? I'm looking to get the same petg that FA24 sells on his site because thats what i already have and it works really well with my darts.

VisiPak Medium Wall and McMaster-Carr PETG are indistinguishable. Same ID/OD as measured by calipers, and same perceived rigidity, weight (both are really too light, even in 4' lengths) and opacity. For all we know, they may even come from the same factory.

While this thread is up, I thought I'd ask: Is there anywhere to get red or other brightly colored foam now that Kane's stopped selling? Modman's website is apparently gone too. The fbr directory is horribly out of date, basically all the sources listed are no longer supplying.

EDIT: I just remembered FA's website, which has beige. Anyone know of anywhere else?

I love these things.

http://ecx.images-am...AA300_SH20_.jpg

They are the best deodorant clips and are great to integrate into flywheel guns. It hold 9-10 darts, and can be either attached as a clip, or left in with the bottom removed to just drops darts in for quick reload.

They can be purchased for $3-4.50 at almost any large retail store or CVS or Walgreens pharmacy.

I suggest you use them first as they are not cheap.

Hey, I'm looking a barrel material that fits over cpvc well. Not too loose, but not too snug. I poked around at my local Lowe's and couldn't find anything. I've heard SCH 20 pvc works, but have to clue where to find it. Would this work, and is it possible to find in-store?

EDIT: Thanks Daniel. I'll try electrical conduit. I was also just fooling around in my basement and remembered that the faux barrel from Recons and Longshots slip over CPVC well also. I may cut a segment of that stuff off and try it as well.

Electrical conduit sometimes works. Bring a stub of CPVC to the store and test sections of it - the tolerances are very sloppy, and so sometimes you can find a batch which works.

Just as extra "evidence/proof", for the "1/2" x 4' Heavy Wall Round Clear Plastic Tube" (yes, I do realize that it is different from thinwall PETG), there is a button that says "Need a Smaller Quantity? Click here." right below the image of the product which redirects you to McMaster-Carr's website.

Sorry, I forgot the link.

Note: Yes, it is a slightly different product, but I'm just trying to point out that if VisiPak supplies McMaster-Carr with thickwall PETG, it most likely also supplies them with their thinwall PETG (or "cut to length plastic tubes" if you want to be technical)

Oh, and also, for the AmazonSupply website, would "Clear Polycarbonate Tubing" (link) be a suitable alternative to PETG? It's a good deal more expensive and also happens to be out of stock currently (or I would have ordered some to test). Thanks!

You can find some brass tubing for a pretty good deal on this site: http://www.hobbypeople.net/index.php/ I found 1/2, 17/32, and 19/32 brass there. The only problem is that i could not find any 9/16 brass <_< I hope this is helpful!

EDIT: I found some 9/16 brass http://www.hobbylinc.../k s/k s141.htm This site is better than the hobby people site. They have everything you need to make an angel breech brass-wise.

You can buy colored foam online, or at some hardware stores. (Check around your local area to see what stores have as far as FBR goes)
Also, I think Mod Man is selling some red foam as of now. Click this to go to the thread.

You could buy some beige foam from best materials or sinickers. You could get white foam from Ben? Also Mod Man is selling red cera foam.

Just found something awesome. The best PETG i found was sold by Fa24 and his website. he also has amazing glue dome weights and foam. Amazon is the best place i found that you can get brass from. The price ranges from 5 dollars to 12 dollars for 3 feet of a size. 9/16 is a little on the high side and 17/32 is reasonably cheap. im not trying to endorse Fa24 or Amazon, im just throwing some info out there.

Edit: yea sorry for talking about amazon again even though its in the forum already. but the prices were not talked about and so that is a good piece of info.
