So after scouring the world of Nerf, I couldn't find anything on any shotgun mods.

Now, I know that most shotguns are not very practical and all that jazz but I do want to make a gun that will shoot a fare amount of darts. I do have a sledge fire but three darts isn't enough for me. I have some firefly and maverick barrels that I could use to make something. But like I said, there wasn't anything I could find on tutorials or even concepts. Help would be nice. THX

the absolver titan has a barrel setup that should give you what you're looking for, as long as you can find something to put out enough air. might work on a big blast? never tried it personally.

Thanks. Any others? If I have to I will try and buy a titan but I'm looking for something I could do with a magstrike.

Whoa now hold on there. Magstrikes operate much differently than Titan tanks do. A magstrike is a rubber air bladder, meaning the volume of the tank expands to maintain a constant pressure (see ideal gas equation). However, by the nature of the Magstrike system, this means that air is released over time simply due to the constraints provided by the rubber air bladder itself, that is, the air can only be released as fast as the air bladder can squeeze it out; the mechanical properties of the rubber limit the maximum rate of flow you can achieve.

A rigid air tank, a la 4B or XBZ or titan tank, releases it's air in one shot, a fraction of a second. So even if the volume is a bit less than the total volume possible in a magstrike, the pressures can be higher because they are not dependent on the external "squeezing energy" provided by the air camber, and are instead a result of fluid pressure and air compressibility and all that jazz; and the flow rate will be MUCH higher for this same reason.

TL;DR: Don't expect amazing shotgun results from a Magstrike

Okay. Scratch the magstrike. But do you think that if I connected a magstrike pump to a PVC tank and worked out some internals, It could work if I made a clip out of PVC. And thanks for the input. I didn't expect people to actually take me seriously.

I know you say you want a nerf, but have you seen the new BoomCo Burstwave? Sound about what your looking for, maybe mod it to shoot nerf darts. I'd like to see that.
