Hi this is my first post and I need some help on making stefans for a breach. I made a breach for my Titan and the brass sizes are 17/32 and the cut portion of brass is 1/2 in. I know that for air guns it should be a loose fit but this is kind of a tight fit. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Most foams have a tight fit in 17/32. Generally, 9/16 has a good air gun fit. 5/8 sleeves over 9/16 nicely so use that for your breach sleeve.

...Man, if I lived on Oahu, I would've dropped in on Pineapple by now. On Molokai. Via Kayak. ...Fuck, we're depending on you guys to defend us from 3DBBQ, get your shit together already.

Most foam used is 1/2 inch. (as far as I know) McMaster is the most common ordered type. you can try store sold FBR or buy it from some of the more "well known" members. Also fair heads up. If that Titan is singled it will be banned at virtually every war.

Griever 2112 still plays with his alpha trooper quite often despite owning one of the scariest +bows.

I really don't think MMC foam is used much, msot people use higher quality denser foam.

No. 19/32nds sleeves over 9/16ths, and 5/8ths sleeves over 19/32nds.

McMaster foam is said to be very inconstant with its diameter. I don't suggest ordering it, it's a risk. Yeah, most people don't use it.

If you order foam that is too thick you could always try stretching it by nailing both ends of the foam to a board (the foam being cut in sections, not the whole 15-30 feet of it). Or try your luck with crappy foam like mcmaster foam, frost king (home depot/lowes) foam, or ACE brand foam. Once I got some ace foam that was an airgun fit in 1/2 inch brass.

It's an injection attack against this version of IPB. We'll be down intermittently while I upgrade the site.

If I put ads on NerfHaven you'll know it. They'll be for drugs... and hookers... and duct tape.

What works better than stretching blindly is using a string to pull it through a 10' section of 1/2" CPVC and let it sit in there for a couple weeks. I can take the historically enormous white foam and stretch it down perfectly in this manner.

I just cut them into blanks, throw 'em in a pillow case, and put a hair dryer in it on high for around 2 or so minutes, with about a 10 second break in between minutes.
