Hello guys!

I recently bought a Zing z-tek bow because I couldn't afford a z-curve bow. I figured they were pretty much the same, the bungee cords were a lot shorter though. After some testing and already losing 1 arrow I decided to do some modding

The stock bow looked like this

So i sawed all of the parts that didn't matter so now it looks like this

So, pretty much the same thing but more compact.

I also plasti dipped the part of the arrow that you grab onto

Sorry, kinda hard to see.

Thanks, I'm a relatively new modder and I would love to hear some feedback!

For starters, you need to get those pictures working before we can see what you did. You need to copy the embed code rather than the image url.

Try that, and then we can give you some feedback.

Those of us lucky enough not to live in Canada can copy and paste the URL in to another window and see the pictures.

As for feedback, I think the plastidip on the arrow pull tab is a great idea.

I have to say I like what you did here. Nothing overly complicated, it just makes a more efficient design, and adds comfort. Both good things.

Oh, my bad.

As for the mod, nice idea with the plasti-dipped arrows. Does it make any difference in the amount of grip?

Yeah, sometimes if I pull the cord back too far then the arrow starts to slip and when I put the plasti dip on, that really improved.
