A little preview for some things I'll have for sale within a few weeks: Homemade RFDG and PAS plunger rods.

As many of us know, the stock plungers for both of these blasters strain and break under the force of the springs we put in them to perform well. Louie did some work on machining replacement parts (which is where I got a great deal of inspiration for this), but machining thick pieces of AL bar like he did isn't really practical for many of us. Also, he said he'd charge $100 to make any more sets of internals. It may very well be a deserved price, but is simply too much for many of us.

These are the ways in which I am improving from Louie's build:
-Cheaper and more common materials.
-Ease of machining (1/4" Polycarbonate is very straightforward to work worth).
-Digital templates for fast and easy reproduction.
-No need for excessive filing of aluminum parts. The Polycarbonate won't wear away at the shell much.
-Can be made with an average scrollsaw, drill press, and some hand tools.

I still need to add plunger heads to these as well as some other finishing touches, but the hardest parts of the builds have been worked through. My end goal with these is to be able to offer complete internal replacement sets for the PAS, and near complete internal replacement sets for the RFDG (I don't plan on reproducing the turret parts).

Holy shit venom's going HAM.

Posted Image

AAbow my friend and I made a while ago. The rear plunger guide and handle is really necessary for accuracy- this is as deadly as anything with a trigger. Just more fun to use.

Holy shit venom's going HAM.

You know it!

I made some progress on the plunger. Added a plunger head, spring, and grommets for padding (kudos to Ryan/Kane for that idea). This build has gone better than expected! I'm being intentionally vague because this design is still in progress and may change before I consider the project "done".

This U-Cup fits awesomely in the stock plunger tube. The stock plunger head doesn't even come close to sealing this well.

I made up a freaking huge RSCB (10 streamlines, or 20 slugs) for my SNAPbow for some lame people who want me to use stock darts.

Had some time to work... so I took advantage of it. I improved on my R2L pump design. (Thanks to SlightlySane for the R2L) With my last design the pump was two separate parts. With my Rev. 2 design it's one single piece of 2" PVC. Though my Rev. 1 pump didn't break, I saw it bending and I didn't want to risk it breaking in the heat of war. Overall my Rev. 2 is better. FYI: if you are interested in buying my Rev. 1, I can sell it to you. (PM me) So, Here it is:

Pull and release SNAP made from a broken ball pump. Hits about 60, 70 on a good day with stock streamlines from a 9/16 barrel.

Most boring image of a HAMP in history
Posted Image

The barrel is inside the plunger like so. No feed mechanisms here, just vacuum loading.
Posted Image

And here it is apart:
Posted Image

At a hair over 3 feet long, compressed, it's longer than it needs to be. And as of now there is nothing preventing the plunger from falling or being pulled out. There is, however, a shop rag in the bottom of the plunger tube to silence it.

The only advantages I see to this design is the lack of any pinch points (No handles, no problem) and being collapsible to it's compressed length. Unlike my usual HAMPs, I could ship these, if someone wanted to buy them (I'm betting they don't).

SNAP 7.5 with turquoise, black and white paint job.

Posted Image

Supa-sturdy handle. Polycarb sideplates add rigidness to the handle and guard the CPT from accidental breakage.

Posted Image

Primed with a massive chopper. A tad less than 8 inches of draw. Bows are superior to springers for their increased draw potential. The blaster is huge though; 20 inch arms and a ~3 ft main body make it slightly unwieldy. Shoots hard and has a supa-easy prime.

Pictures for the Camper Scrub. I've sanded the handles to hell, but the leftover pen markings are still there. He'll be painting/sealing the handles anyways, so the markings won't be showing in the final product.

I've been fixing some of my primaries. In the process I've also been making some wood accessories for them. They are sanded and very smooth.

Finished this in about 6 hours from start to finish, all that is left is to stain the exposed wooden parts. Coming soon to a war near you!

The final form of my RCCarbine. I shrunk down the front section as much as I could. I may add a pump-action thing to it later, now that today was the last day of school.

Made a bow for a friend. It has a extra long clip that holds 9 streamlines because he uses stock darts. They fishtail like crazy but it's still great to shoot.

Made some more progress on the homemade PAS internals tonight. BabyGandhi will be testing out this prototype version of the complete internal replacement kits I'm planning on selling. There isn't a trigger pictured below because he already owns some replacement triggers of mine.
