Materials:
1. cpvc
2. 2 x 4" discs
3. 1 x 2 1/4" disc
4. 1 x 2 3/4" disc
5. Hot glue
6. goop
7. Craft foam or BBB arrow
8. 1 x 1 1/2" x 1/4" bolt with corresponding nut
9. Ruler
10. Drill/Drill press
11. Assorted drill bits
Instructions:
First, cut the two 4" discs out:
Next, Bolt the 2 1/4" disc onto one of the 4" discs:
Trace around it:
Swap out the 2 1/4" disc for the 2 3/4" disc:
Trace around it:
REPEAT STEPS 1-5 WITH THE OTHER RING
Continue with one ring
Divide the ring into fourths with a ruler:
Then put a mark between each of the four lines:
Put an "X" on the end of each line on the outer ring, on the other disc, make an "X" anywhere on the larger ring:
Drill 3/8" holes where the "X" s are. Be sure to drill pilot holes to prevent cracking:
Cut 8 x 3" Pieces of CPVC:
Take your craft foam and cut a chunk out of it. This is a 1/4" sliver of a BBB arrow:
Cut holes in them and glue them onto the disc with one hole:
Start gluing and gooping your barrels onto the other disc:
After they are all glued and gooped, it should look like this:
Glue a 1" piece if CPVC to the BACK of the disc with one hole.
Bolt the two discs together with the foam inwards. Not too tight but not too loose.
Now its done!
On a PAS:
A barrel spacer is highly recommended for durability.

http://nerfhaven.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21418&st=0&p=302257&fromsearch=1&#entry302257Great idea, I bet you could do something like this with an old maverick or hyperfire turret.
Did it, heh. I personally like this whole concept a bit better though because it can be all homemade. I think it needs a better indexing system, however. It's given me ideas, so I may eventually try my own hybrid design between this homemade one and my own Hyperfire design with 1/4" Polycarb. The main thing to keep in mind though is that we have to keep costs below the cost of printed turrets, otherwise we'd be better off just using them. Even still, I'm loving all the homemade turret designs people have been making.
I'm the only respectable person here. The rest of the NIC are pretty much just child molesters.

Where did I mention a hopper?
I do not recall you mentioning a hopper, but the question still stands.

Getting a good seal on a turret is a very similar engineering challenge.
OP should put a hopper on each barrel of the turret.I do not recall you mentioning a hopper, but the question still stands.

That would defeat the point of the turret, I mean, what is better about having eight hoppers than one. A turret is a space saver, wereas a hopper is better at quick firing, so putting hoppers on every barrel would be useless.OP should put a hopper on each barrel of the turret.

When one hopper runs out of darts, switch too the next. Huge dart capacity, and it looks ridiculously awesome. Anyways, the original hopper comment was a joke about how hoppers are better than turrets, and the next ones were jokes building off that one. The fact that I needed to explain that both made me cry and killed the joke.

How much does that thing wheigh? looks like it would be a lot more cumbersome than a turret.Don't put hoppers on your turrets: use inline clips! The latest in Nerf technology since 2006!
