I was originally trying to make Angel's BBB mod, this one.
But due to all the Home Depots/Lowes/Ace Hardware stores NOT having 1/2" cpvc... and the fact that there's no "hobby shop" for 80 miles from me (for diff sized brass)... I had to make some compromises.

PS, Yes I realize the clip is kind of unsightly...

The mod isn't too diff from Angel's, so I didn't think I'd need to do a write-up.
But if anyone wants one... I guess I'll do one when I have some free time.

Edit, here's a picture tutorial, if you don't understand something(s), REMEMBER THIS!! Think simple!! There's no super complicated mechanics going on in this mod, everything is super simplified! This whole mod was made for the common man (or woman <-- I know, I'm surprised girls play too! But I've seen video clips of them joining in hunts so it's gotta be true).

Items needed:

1/2" copper/brass
1/2" PVC
??/??" tube that fits 1/2" copper/brass inside it.
1/2" Elbow joint (Copper or PVC, your choice)
1/2" T-Joint (Copper or PVC, your choice)
Epoxy
E-tape
Card Board
Binder Clip
Screw
Paper Clip
Caulk Saver (FBR)
Hot Glue

Tools:
Exacto Knife
Dremel/Rotary tool

That's a great rearranging of things for the BBB. I also didn't like the outer PVC tube to protect the brass parts, mainly because that makes the linkage arm hard to attach. Angel has had great success with using adhesives to attach the linkage arm, but I know there are a ton of people that just can't get the damn thing to stick. The T-joint at the front is a great idea. I used a hose clamp, myself, to doohickey some steel brackets onto the linkage arm.

By the way, that is a big ass clip you have on top. Also enjoy the shotgunning effect.

On a side note, remember that one thread with the theory that everyone on youtube is retarded? Hmm.

Yeah I didn't like the outer barrel either, but it's all I had to work with. PS it's not PVC, since PVC wouldn't fit the copper barrel, it's actually the Titan's pump handle! Surprised? I was too! I basically cut off the titan's pump handle, and replaced it with a stick of PVC (they have the same OD).
If you guys use the T-joint to connect to the elbow joint, I'd suggest using a PVC T-joint, so then there's no hole at the top of your barrel.

I like the shotgun effect too, if you guys want to shoot more then 4 rounds per shot, just increase the length of the copper barrel, you won't get great distance, but the spread will be awesome.

And yes, I vaguely remember that thread, but eh, "to each his own".

PS, in case anyone's wondering what was on the TV, it's Smackdown.

If you would like to do a write up. That would be great. Since it is a different breech than mine considering the entire barrel moves back and forth. I would add this to the directory for sure! I am still not sure if I am going to add the hornet mod to the directory or not. Since its mainly homemade. I love the work you are doing so far.
My only complaint is that the videos are painful to watch. There is a lot of studdering and stage fright. Have a script or something. I cannot really judge because the only time I speak is in the assassin videos.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Sweet mod!!

I aleady spent a while working on the ABBB, and had trouble with it.......

There was just too much tension attaching the breech arm to the breech. Although if I went back and did it, I could now probably get it working...

I like this! I like the shotgunning too.

Yes the breach motion is definitely different in this mod. It reminds me of a reverse Longshot breach (the LS has a bolt, this one simply uses the barrel to move). It's good stuff.

Have you had issues with the copper clipping your darts at all? I am assuming the copper is a perfect, or loose, fit to avoid any jamming.

By the way, the youtube remark was referring to nstrike's comment on the video. Is that guy even still here at the haven? The last I remember, was him telling me that something wasn't "any of my business".

EDIT: Just found that he's back at the end of October. Whoop-de-fucking-doo.

Thanks for the comments guys, it's what makes modding worth it (for me at least).

Frost - Yeah I did have problems clipping the darts when I 1st tested it, but it wasn't because of the magazine or the barrels, it was because my darts were 1/2" too short, and they kept falling in front of the darts below them. That problem was easily mended by making a shorter clip (shorter from front to back) (it could also be mended by making longer stefans).

To do the shotgunning effect, just hold onto the trigger, pull back the gun, then push it forward, and repeat 'til you have your desired amount inside.
Then find a target and...

"Give them nothing...
BUT Take from them,..
EVERYTHING!!"

(I had to quote it, it was such a damn good movie)

ah and don't worry about N-strike, I know he doesn't mean anything bad, he's just quoting the bloopers (at first I though he was going to bring up the scene when I kept dropping the binder clip... haha, I'm such a klutz)

FA24 - thanks for adding it to the directory (if you do), and yeah my friend complains about how I don't plan anything out either. It's just the way I like to do things... like in my Gunblade vid. I could have planned things out and re-shot the vid until I hit the target in the end, but didn't it give a sense that it was more "real" because I missed, or didn't have a script. Eh, maybe it's just me...

but anyways, the thread's been updated with an easy to follow picture tutorial, so good luck modders!! (not that you'll need any, since it's a VERY SIMPLE MOD... If you have the tools and supplies, I'd rank it a 3 on a scale of 1-10).

What kind of fit are you getting as far as your FBR and the 1/2" Copper?

I don't 100% completely understand what that means Frost, so I'm going to guess.
It fit's perfectly (not too tight, not too loose) inside the copper tube.
By adding the E-tape around the tip of the barrel, it gives it a better seal as well.

That's the answer to the question I asked, for sure.

So if you stick the dart in to the copper and held it vertical, will the dart fall out? I am going to assume not because it fits perfectly.

Nope, it'll stay in place because of the E-tape I added to the rear tip of the barrel. But even without the E-tape, it'll stay in place, the tape's just for that little extra seal.

Its a modified Angel Bow, which he has a write up for.

Boom13 had some sort of long term memory loss or something and is out of nerf, so wont be replying to any of the PMs you would happen to send him, just so you know.

Just so you know, its a reasonable request, and come on, the guy at least has decent grammar.

Yeah he went into like 2 different comas for at least a week and so he doesn't remember much from when he was here. I had talked to him on youtube awhile back.

I'm actually really excited about these. These may be small but I think they will be very useful when I use my ninja skills.
