My bro was modding his LS by removing the locks and padding the plunger. It works great, but it won't accept clips. Any advice?

do the clips fall out or do they not go into the blaster at all?

More than likely, the plunger padding is too thick/ won't compress enough. This would cause the bolt to not go back far enough to accept clips.

I had this problem with my LongStrike. What I did was I just dremeled away about two millimeters of the plastic at the top of the clip. (The part that clamps around the dart)

Hope this helps.

Alternatively, you could cut the breech to accept any kind of dart. This would fix your issue, and allow more dart types to be used. Check the modification directory LS section to find it. (I would hyperlink it, but I don't know how just yet).

Anole: 1 inch thick padding? I don't know what spring you've got in there, but my LS has just 1 layer of felt, & that seems to be enough for a slightly stronger than stock spring combo.

Remove it, but put a thin layer in later like F1Nerf's post above this one.

It now works. The padding was a bit much, especially because my little brother uses a light spring combo.
