so i have taken the time to mod my nerf stryfe with a firefly body for a stock. i bought new elite suction cup darts and everytime i try to shoot them they jam up and grind in the fly wheels. basic mods of removing all locks and electrical devices though i ran the wires into a kill switch where the normal on off switch for the firefly would be. the wheels and everything run great just wondering if i am the only one with this issue? not sure if youtube video links for the blasters are allowed my apologies if they arent i am new and still learning but this is the video of my blaster. help appreciated

Your issue is likely the suction darts, try regular elite darts/ streamlines and report back.

seeings as the nonmodded stryfe i have( i bought them to akimbo them) works with the darts im going to assume the trouble is within the flywheels themselves?

Something like this happened to me before. Is it possible you wired a + to a - somewhere along the line? If you did, then the flywheels could be spinning backwards.

The flies wheels spin properly, they just don't register the darts. Instead, they fire up I pull the trigger and then the horrific grinding noise begins.

So now I'm thinking it could be the plastic flaps that guide the dart in or you have something stuck in the barrel.

I've just checked both conditions still jamming... could the trigger pull be an issue?

Total guess here, but it might not be pushing the dart far enough in. Make sure it's assembled correctly.

Found the issue it isn't pushing the dart far enough unless I add more pressure which means I'll probably at some foam to reduce noise and turn it into a rifle. Seeings as it will not be much good for close quarters either way because it runs off of a kill switch. Possibly a voltage mod as well for distance?
