#90055 Longshot "shotgun" Foregrip

Posted by Vaega on 19 September 2006 - 07:04 PM in Modifications

He means just keep the gun in place with the strap but cock it with the regular cocking handle.

#90553 Yet Another Longshot Mod...

Posted by Vaega on 26 September 2006 - 07:23 PM in Modifications

Does the barrel extension give you more range? I heard that before with the front gun attached range was worse.

#89914 My Longshot Modifications (56k Beware)

Posted by Vaega on 17 September 2006 - 08:00 PM in Modifications

Great writeup. I'll do this if I ever decide to get a longshot. Too bad I suck at modding.

Depends on the gun and the distance your target is.

Dude believe me. Sometimes the foam itself rips.

Dude secure that screw with some hot glue or something. If you're using a high velocity gun the screw could pop out easily and hurt someone.

#94332 I Have A Nerf Gun That Shoots Almost 400'

Posted by Vaega on 13 November 2006 - 04:53 PM in General Nerf

Echo great job on the mod. It sounds plausible and I applaud you for it.

Nerfer I feel that you're skeptical because you lost money.

#95059 Insane "armor Piercing" Rifle

Well you could just pump it less if you don't wanna do that much damage.

#93028 Broken Window!

Posted by Vaega on 26 October 2006 - 02:49 PM in General Nerf

Hmm I have the same problem with the weight coming out of the dart. I used my recently modded lbb to shoot at a tissue box and the weights in at least 5 darts have come out one way or another. But I think it would be fine at longer distances.

#93395 My Longshot Mod (56kers Beware, Again)

It's just that the way you asked was disrespectful and insulted his intelligence.

#94325 Installing A Check Valve

Posted by Vaega on 13 November 2006 - 04:22 PM in Homemades

So if I want to install one into a pvc endcap I drill a hole then put the check valve in with some pvc primer and cement?

#94308 Installing A Check Valve

Posted by Vaega on 13 November 2006 - 06:41 AM in Homemades

Yeah I know what a check valve is. I was just wondering how I would go about attaching one. Any suggestions on the type of glue I would use?

#94297 Installing A Check Valve

I'm working on a homemade. Could someone explain how to install a check valve in pvc?

#91047 First Try At Stefans

Posted by Vaega on 02 October 2006 - 10:00 AM in Modifications

I use 3/0 fishing weights in mine. I also melt a hole in the back. But I haven't had anything that has the power of a bbb so I wouldn't know how well mine work.

#91049 First Try At Stefans

Posted by Vaega on 02 October 2006 - 10:35 AM in Modifications

I get mine for like 80 cents for like 40.

#93029 Q/a Thread For Unanswered Questions...

Posted by Vaega on 26 October 2006 - 02:51 PM in General Nerf

I get my o-rings from lowes. To put it on the plunger head you look to see if your plunger has an o-ring on it. And then you find one that fits better and you put it on there.

#93554 Nerf "video"

Posted by Vaega on 02 November 2006 - 08:22 PM in General Nerf

I think the video is a little too hectic to show to a teacher. But for attracting nerfers awesome!

#88892 O-ring Problems

Posted by Vaega on 03 September 2006 - 02:55 PM in Modifications

Well if it helps any the O-Rings I bought for my NiteFinder were 15/16" for the outer diameter, 3/4" for the Inner Diameter by 3/32. I used 2 of these. And I wouldn't reccomend doing anything to the O-RIngs you bought because it would most likely ruin the seal.
