If you don't know my former typing style it was very errorous and full of spelling errors (do to the lack of the current rules). I am willing to monitor my posts more closely out of respect for nerfers and this site (witch everyone should do as a member of the forums).

Are all homemades baned from this war? Because im making the one Evan made, the FAR Rifle. I would love to use it, also posibly the beast. Though I'm pretty sure that you will ban the beast. The reason that I ask this question is because the FAR Rifle is not as powerful other homemades.(Like the ones desert storm brought that could shatter safety glasses.) Plus this gun will help me compensate for other things...

I was just joshing about Toj being a newbie. That's just me talking trash. He has been with us since the begining. Toj is definatly a veteran when it comes to nerf.Dude, if you are the last member to join a group, you are always considered the "new kid." I've been the "new kid" in the LCM for the past 4 years.

Did you even read my poast? Do you even remember why homemades where banned in the first place? Homemades where banned for being too hazardous. The FAR Rifle doesn't break saftey glasses and shoots under 100 feet. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe it shoots around 75 feet. Another reason why I ask this is because the gun's power comes from spring rather than compressed air; so if the pvc breaks there won't be plastic shrapnel going all over the place. Plus, you out of all people should know that there is no harm in asking.

I hate to bring up an old subject, but how DID you angle and extend the T-joints? I'm having trouble figureing this one out. I dont understand flamebo's explanation could you put a pic? If you make one just for a pic, I'll be your best friend also I would sent you the total three bucks for the materials via mail. It would really help if you could tell us what was the angle you angled it at too. that way I can make the clip at the right angle.

toj and i can go together if we can make time but that is going to be hard to do.I'm not sure if I can go yet, because my family and I are planning on going to some mountains to snowboard (well I snowboard they ski...). My mom said that I have to pack for it "ALL" Saturday, I'll try to weezle (sp?) out of it, but right now its about 50-50...

First of all, I don't agree with protesters. I never have and never plan to go to a war protest. I believe that there is a time and place for war, simply that this is not the time and place. Your entire post was dedicated to dissing anti-war people, so I don't even need to respond to most of it.
As to the vietnam part though, have you noticed that most vietnam veterans oppose war? The people who want war are those who have never seen combat.
And if America accept it's role as world policeman and accepts casualties, why did we give up our "responsibilities" as soon as 18 soldiers were killed in somalia?

I must say overall the day was sub-optimal. I had fun meeting new people then shooting them. The only thing that was really bad was getting there when you guys all went to lunch. Falchon, word of advice for when you are hosting a war. If there is change in location: leave a sign at the old one; post it in the forums; leave a number to call; and Call all the people you know are comming. Toj and I got at the original location at 8:30 we spent all of the first half of the war searching for you guys by looking at the all the adjacent schools and the wrong In & Out. The only way we got there is by going to a radio shack and finding Kevin's cell number from the after party invite. just keep in mind murphy's law, it helps.

1) Groove, OMC, Kuhlschrank and anyone from the east cost kicks major ass in coolness and kicking ass. I <3 you all.
2)CXWQ I <3 U too
3) Getting ready to charge with CX and Groove. CX send me first because I'm the loudest. I run around the corner screaming Improvised profanities with the others behind me fully loaded and ready to shoot. Then no one was there.
4) The look on Grooves face when he saw Toj and I waiting for every one to come back from lunch.
5) The look on Grooves face when I gave him his petaphile shrine I made him shortly after he saw toj and I waiting for everyone to come back from lunch.
6) Venturing with the kind from New Mexico trying find the war. (ok It really sucked but I liked the kid)

Jon, we all met for the war at 10:00. We left Sellers at about 10:25. If you were at the original location that early, then there wouldn't have been anyone to leave a map or something behind. My housefull of people was about 1/2 awake at 8:30. If that's a typo, understood.
All right dude I have to rip you for this one. Ok you only did about half of what I said. And when I say half, you only did have of one of the many sugestions that I gave you. It was not a rip on you, but this one is now. the thing that you only half did was the info on a back up location. Well you had it there, you just didnt post it when it was taken into effect. Also you gave us the wrong adress to begin with. The location you where talking about was 2 blocks away. (which we wouldn't have been able to find if wasn't for the kid who drove 800 miles to nerf.[who's mom 411ed all the schools in the Glendora area.]) Dont get me wrong I know you were a first timer hosting a war like this, but it is no excuse when people fly from the other side of the US and drive 800 miles. When toj / shattereddreams hosted Armegedon at his house was he was on top of that shit.( hell he even fed everyone.) Look, I saw the back of you bumper sticker on your van. If you are a eagle scout, like me, what is the matto? (be prepared for the people who don't know.) We where early, we were prepared, but we were not infromed.

i would have to go with gung em down you should resepect everyone you nerf with. even if they are a dick. but if they just go beond that point to where there a problem for everyone then its ok to kick there ass.You should respect everyone. Tho I did choose an acurate wepon, i think the answers should not be one or the other. i just want a gun that performs to a specific calibur. if you think about it most compat is within 30 to 50 feet. I think people sould have a gun that is acurate within or above that range and feels nice and looks it could take someones head off.
