#227274 Plastic Safe Lubricants

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 30 April 2009 - 04:39 PM in General Nerf

That sounds like Moly Grease to me. Which, come to think of it, is in constant contact with rubber axle boots, which don't seem to have any problems with it. I suppose it may eat plastics, though.

Moly grease = lithium grease with brand name additives

(insert raucous buzzer sound here)

You must be an Aryan JSB, you seem to be a nazi about everything.

It seems to me that food based aersol lubricants always come out like liquid foam, very odd.

In my way of thinking a "Sprinkler scope" should actaully just be called a sprinkler sight. Scopes magnify your image while these simply give you a sight picture.

well I ussaully make bows out of oak or cedar or any other suitable wood that I can find. The strings are the cord that make radial tries with. Probably can hold 550 lbs of force. and reading the dangerous book for boys. I also love my air rifle.

#293999 Night Vision For N-strike

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 06 February 2011 - 03:14 PM in General Nerf

Quick note on NV like these, any other players using Eyeclops or this NV optic will see other players using them. The way that this works is that it throws and IR beam much like a flashlight, and then it filters it to colors that the human eye can register. Basically, if I had the eyeclops goggles and you had this optics and we looked at each other, it would look like we have flashlights. Or you can shell out the cash and get Gen. 1 NVG's.

TL;DR: Use a flashlight.

#294040 Night Vision For N-strike

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 06 February 2011 - 10:48 PM in General Nerf

It needs the IR light to function. Sure you could block it, but it wouldn't work.

#178586 Nerf War In Kansas!

Posted by Rogue Warrior on 21 September 2008 - 10:16 AM in Nerf Wars

I would stick with the outdoor just to keep every gun on a level playing field. The wind, hills, birds, small toddler's parents who make you have a time-out to let them ride down the slide like an the Minnesota war. Indoors only long ranged weapons will be able to kill unless you are spiderman and can crawl on the cieling like a freaking ninja with your magstrike in hand. And also aiding to my argument is the fact that we can't break anything that we aren't aiming for outside.

#179553 Nerf War In Kansas!

#178120 Nerf War In Kansas!
