If you guys ever get tired of making darts, you may want to use the premature blossoms that come off of plants. I use the round things that come off Crape Myrtle trees. You can't reuse ammo, but the ammo grows back and someplaces you can find ten or more trees grouped together at a park.

Why do people love it so much? Is is because of accuracy or nostalgia? I would rather just buy a Nitefinder than a gun that costs up to five times the amount, but that's just my opinion.

Has anyone ever tried putting packaging tape around darts? I did this for some pink ones and the range was terrific in my cpvc at2k (95-100 ft).

I've been wondering about this a while and was going to experiment on stefans but decided to come here in the interest of saving time, money and foam other than the fact that I was too lazy. What is the best length of stefans and does it vary with the gun? Thanks for any answers, unless they aren't any good.

For those of you who like to spray paint your guns black with Krylon Fusion, do you keep spraying the gun until it turns a very dark shade of black or do you spray it once and it will become a dark shade? Sorry for the run on sentence.

Has anyone found that wrapping clear packaging tape around their stefans helps to straighten darts and may increase range? I was using some on my darts to help them fly straight. You have to wrap the tape around the rim of the dart or else it will just twirl in the air. The dart has to be stretched and becomes thin to compensate for the width of the tape.

I did the barrel modification and put everything together, but when I try to cock it I can only cock it once and a small trace of air comes out. I can't figure out why the cocking mechanism won't work because everything looks like it is in the right spot. How can I fix it?

Actually, I've found a better source for ammo. I now use seeds that grow off bushes and sometimes bulbs of small flowers that sprout on those bushes. They do make your gun dirty after a while, but I clean it out with a pipe cleaner and it's fine. I found some sort of a seed that is green when it is growing, then turns a dark brown and falls off the branch. If the seed is too big for my barrel, I can reshape it and still use it. The seeds smell terrible though.

I know how you can make your own darts now, stefans, and they shoot better then stock darts. I did this all the time until I got tired of the effort in making them. So one day I discovered that the berries that grow on the branches of my tree are the perfect fit in cpvc. So I shot out the berry to test how far it would shoot. I shot as far as a dart, but was a little less accurate. I decided to just use these berries from now on, however, because I had about a thousand of them growing on my tree. Has anyone else ever discovered this? Peace out. Pull out our troops from Iraq.

Does anyone have any special techniques they use to ensure a straight cut? I use a hacksaw and my recent cuts have all been slanted, therefore i had to sand the barrel down to make it straight.

Today I bought Call of Duty for PC but I can't start the game after I've installed it because I don't have enough RAM. Would anyone know how I could aquire more RAM, as you can tell I'm not good with computers. Thanks for the help.
