#253102 Wild Planet Spy Viper Blaster Question...

Posted by lazer371 on 09 October 2009 - 10:15 PM in General Nerf

Wild planet spy blaster
,

What are these, I saw them today as was walking through my local target and was like, "hmm I can see a bit of potential",Has anyone ever bought one of these before, because I don't see it in any mod directory. Or better yet, if any one knows how they work, if its a plunger, air gun, etc. Thanks

#253121 Wild Planet Spy Viper Blaster Question...

Posted by lazer371 on 10 October 2009 - 06:55 AM in General Nerf

Peg-based blaster. One with a spring, no plunger, dart is the plunger.

Oh.... Then that means I'd have to make my own plunger and plunger tube, thats too much work for me right now. Stupid advanced classes.
Thanks for the help CA13 and dizzyduck.

#202842 What The Fuck?

Posted by lazer371 on 12 January 2009 - 03:37 PM in Modifications

Wow, just wow, you should make a video and psot it on here or youtube showing how to do that for the lower level modders. Plus I'd love to see this being made first hand

#205959 What Inspired You To Nerf...

Posted by lazer371 on 24 January 2009 - 02:31 PM in General Nerf

One of my friends had one and I thought they were cool(I thought the fact that I could shoot somebody with a gun and not get in trouble was cool). Then I was at walmart and I saw a maverick, And begged my dad to buy it. Sure enough, I eneded up getting it for christams then came a the tommy 20, longshot etc. But as some tuime went on I was getting bored with the ranges so I wondered if I could make them beter and thats when I went to youtube and searched "nerf". One of the first videos I saw was from uin13 and I just started watching the rest of his videos.

#205416 What Guns Do You Use?

Posted by lazer371 on 22 January 2009 - 06:10 PM in General Nerf

I agree with Draconis, like he said, it depends where your playing and against who you're playing against. But I typically use my LS with my superclips and magstrike and rarely a maverick. I use the Ls because of its great range, accuracy, and decent ROF. The magstrike because its modded and I can pump it to 55 and get 4 clips shot out before having to pump again, but also because its good for clearing rooms and bunkers, Plus it puts out a great ROF. But the hell with side arms you hardly ever need them. I usually have some sort of strap to keep my 2 guns on me and big pockets to keep extra ammo and extra clips.

It'll make the vulcan last 2 weeks instead of 2 years.

#237177 Vos Pistol

Posted by lazer371 on 18 June 2009 - 02:58 PM in Homemades

Wow, it kind of looks like an mp 40. But back to the point, I'd use it as a secdondary anyday - but it doesn't fit the role of a pistol, pistols usually are your last resort and aren't suped up gifts sent from the gods...

I think you might have a little too much free time on your hands

#207094 Troubles Modding Nightfinder

Very nice i like how the barrel under it holds the darts like a real shotgun. Very nice.

#205986 Stefan Help

Posted by lazer371 on 24 January 2009 - 03:38 PM in General Nerf

Use a rubber washer instead of a metal one and don't put any weights on it or cover the washer with hot glue.

#262389 Semi-automatic Valve

Posted by lazer371 on 19 January 2010 - 04:26 PM in Modifications

I have been in the process of doing this with a mag strike bladder/internals because I have limited resources and no money in my pay pal, I had originally planned to make the pumping action of the magsrtike's air shooting mechanism(sorry I honestly cant think of the name right now) revolve the barrels but that soon failed, and I have it all secured down and such, I just can't get a good seal but when I held the barrels back to actually create a seal I was usually hitting around mid 70's on flat shots with stream lines and upper 70's to mid 80's with stefans. If that indicates ranges at all, but you're using an at2k so you should hit much better ranges Ill try to edit this later and post a pic of my hunk of junk.

Oh my god sorry i didn't realize this was over 2 days old. never mind

#262431 Semi-automatic Valve

Posted by lazer371 on 19 January 2010 - 08:10 PM in Modifications

Yes - to tell u the truth the day the firefly came out I thought of this, when I saw it then looked at a magstrike, but I wasn't able to make it for a while, yes mine works on the same principals but my version was far less complicated.

#202853 Retractable Lanyards Anyone?

Posted by lazer371 on 12 January 2009 - 05:01 PM in General Nerf

yeah, pretty much.

#205894 Recon To Uzi?

Posted by lazer371 on 24 January 2009 - 09:06 AM in Modifications

Ok, well you could make a recon semi-auto and full auto by taking the internals of an airsoft gun out and puttung it in a recon, but it would make the range be like ten feet and maybe 15 angled. The point is the recon is crapy gun, it has some potential to be an okay gun. But siriously read the COC, itsin the top left corner(most new people that just skip through it when you're registering eventually have this happen to them and just have to read it and stay low dfor a little bit.)

#207006 Recon Cs-6 Mod Idea

Posted by lazer371 on 27 January 2009 - 08:25 PM in Modifications

I'm sorry but please try to read over your post, its not that much work and it could keep you from getting in trouble. But you could just glue the bypod piece onto one of those clips that holds it onto the barrel attachment rail and be able to take that off the normal way...

#205495 New Breech/clip Idea

Posted by lazer371 on 22 January 2009 - 08:28 PM in Darts and Barrels

Thats how some BB guns work...

#203606 Nerf Recon M4

Posted by lazer371 on 15 January 2009 - 05:10 PM in Modifications

Do you still have to triggerpart from the LS frost gun cuzbecauseu could take out the trigger mechanism and just super glue that onto the barrel extension and the the handle ill be more comfortable. Thats what i did.

#206220 Nerf Nightfinder Mod/ The Diplomat

Posted by lazer371 on 25 January 2009 - 12:54 PM in Modifications

I got my NF to go 70 feet flat with out rubber band and using sonics, but it has a FF spring and a buzzbee shotgun spring in it... If i Added rubber bands i could probbly get 75 feet flat, and angled i get 80-100. I put it at, around 15-20 degree angle and got it to go 101 feet.

#203597 Nerf Nightfinder Mod/ The Diplomat

No offence, but its not that awesome looking. Did you put primer layer like black or white?

#253226 Nerf In Popular Culture

Posted by lazer371 on 11 October 2009 - 08:31 AM in General Nerf

I don't watch it, but I saw it in a commercial, I think they used eliminators, recons, ls's, and vulcans in an episode of Glee.

#253488 Nerf 1928 Tommy Gun

Posted by lazer371 on 13 October 2009 - 07:35 PM in Homemades

So, its a singled rf20? what the hell is the point of that, your going from 20 to 1. Unless you somehow replace the cardboard mag with the stock 20 bullet drum thingy. Once you do that I won't critisize you.

#229216 My Ls Is Worse Than Stock

Posted by lazer371 on 09 May 2009 - 03:44 PM in Modifications

Sorry people, I have a question to add to this thread - would I hit 100+ if I used a 3rd gen nightfinder spring or a first gen recon spring along with the ls spring? I can hit 93 feet with the recon spring added

In your opinion what is the most effective gun combonation? Why?(weather it be that one balances out the other, power, ROF, range, accuracy, looks, playing favorites, or what ever it is I just want to know why you chose your combonation and whats in it.)

My cpvc'd singled ls, with tactical rail that serves almost no purpose
Posted Image

Top view, this one is diffferent because I messed up a little while I was making it.
Posted Image

My singled cpvc'd longshot, the forgrip mod is for the breach that I made for it.

The breach closed,

the breach opened,

One of my 1/2 inch coupler'd nitefinders, with a speedloader

With the singled ls (on flat shot) I get about 95-100ft. average with stefans, and with the breached ls (on flat shot) I get about 90-95ft. average. With the nite finder(on a flat shot) I get about 65ft. average with stefans, the stefans I use are a little too heavy for my nite finders though.

one of my longshots, it is "singled" but it has a breach just like the one on my bbb only scaled up a little, its quite accurate (99 ft max with my crappy stefans /so close to 100.... dammit). In my opinion the breach increases my rof dramatically, and I'm almost getting singled ls ranges, sadly only works with stefans using the breach because the barrel is too long but thats why its so accurate.

Posted Image

thats the general idea of it but with out the top bar, sorry I don't have a pic right now...

#227841 Modding Question

Ummmm, try 80 pound and up fishing string - that could deal with some good tension.

#204063 Mg42 Longshot Help

Posted by lazer371 on 17 January 2009 - 07:58 AM in General Nerf

What you could do is, use the internals of a magstrike and hook up the pump and all that stuff then just buy like 5 clips or "magazines" do the mod to get those together and use that. The make the whole thing sideways. By sideways i mean when the clip advances dont make it got up make it got to the right or left. If you did that it'd be like a real mg42 and be fully automatic

#202884 Making A Big Water Pump

Posted by lazer371 on 12 January 2009 - 06:24 PM in Off Topic

Just use a plate, put some rubber bands or huge "O" rings around it and put vasoline or something in the tube. But thats only if you can't think of anything else.

#225545 Magstrike Help

Posted by lazer371 on 24 April 2009 - 06:50 PM in Modifications

ummmmm, use an an opxy or super-glue to keep it together, glue the edges of the shell. It'll make it look cleaner but duct tape would work too but your gun would look cheap, no offence to the person that said to use tape...

#205923 Magstrike I Need Help

Posted by lazer371 on 24 January 2009 - 11:54 AM in General Nerf

I know what you're talking about, I can help because I just modded 3 magstrikes for me and my friend. You could try glueing it but it might still not work because sometimes its supposed to move. It probbly will work, only it might get jammed and maybe break off afetr a while.

#204342 Magstike Safety Part

Posted by lazer371 on 18 January 2009 - 09:06 AM in Modifications

Yeah, but hot glue basically dries into rubber so its pretty easy to get out...

#226587 Magstike Help

Posted by lazer371 on 27 April 2009 - 05:09 PM in Modifications

Do the bladder mod, I did it. I can shoot four and a half clips with out having to pump again, but the mod wears out the bladder a bit so the bullets don't go as far after a few months. The mod can be very helpful in a close quarters situation though - the mod has its pro's and con's but the pro's outwiegh the con's in my opinion.

#226543 Ls Help

Posted by lazer371 on 27 April 2009 - 03:19 PM in General Nerf

The picture is exactally the same. But I don't know whats wrong with it, I took the main spring out and it worked flawlessly(it always caught) - then I put it back in and it didn't work. I don't get it, its the stock spring that hardly gives any power. How would it not catch? I haven't streched or done anything to the sping.

#226831 Ls Help

Posted by lazer371 on 28 April 2009 - 03:20 PM in General Nerf

I already did put in a new spring thats atleast 4 times as powerful on the catch, thanks people

#226533 Ls Help

Posted by lazer371 on 27 April 2009 - 02:55 PM in General Nerf

Well, I,ve done the procedure of taking it appart and putting it back together about 5 times. Yet, still no catch, the only mod I've done to it is removing the air restricter.
