#14017 Need Help With Semi-auto Valve

Posted by Ironman on 10 December 2003 - 06:55 PM in Homemades

I want to make a homemade, semi-auto gun but need a valve. I know about Zero's homemade, but is there anything better? Would Zero's Basic Pull Valve work?

Just give them a fake name and an expendable E-mail address...

Does that mean to give a fake e-mail address and a name like Adam Bomb(just a example) :) <_< ?

#14324 Air Tank

Posted by Ironman on 14 December 2003 - 05:15 PM in Homemades

I need a airtank for my semi-auto, but can't figure the best way to make one. -_- I want to make removeable, refillable ones. I also want to make it attached to the barrel somehow so I don't have to carry the thing around all the time. Is there a way of transferring air from one big tank that I don't hook up to the gun.

Posted by Ironman on 14 December 2003 - 06:01 PM in Homemades

A basic pull valve would not work if praticality is needed. If you could pull it back and push it forward(the firing pin, i mean) incredibly fast than you might retain some air, but your pressure would be virtually gone.

Could you somehow put a spring in the to make it come back by its self. Damn i wish I had a Designing program to show what Im talking about!

#15027 My Gun

Posted by Ironman on 25 December 2003 - 01:19 PM in Homemades

The barrel is ½ inch CPVC pipe. I have a sheet metal box to make the clip fit the barrel. The clip is also made of sheet metal. The trigger is a head for an air compressor, which has a spring in it. The real problem with Zero’s Semi-Auto is the trigger has no spring in it to bring it back after you pull it. Another problem is because of no spring, the valve stays open and the air just keeps going through it turning it into an Uncontrolled-Automatic Gun instead of a Semi-Auto gun. It’s the same with my valve but at least mine comes back after I let go of it. I will begin soon a TRUE semi-auto valve. The stock holds all the important connections to the valve. The hose connecting the valve to the air tank is almost the type that is used in air hose on an air compressor. The air tank is made of 3-inch PVC pipe and 90º PVC turns. I will maybe soon have some real pics of the finished version.
Note: I had a blue-print but it didn't come up on my post! ^_^

I'm a little late on this but I'm really fucking sick of the US vs Canada bullshit that seems to have invaded the forum. Can all the hyper-nationalistic people kindly die? Thanks. That works great for me.

I am too! It is bull-shit that you guys think your country is better. Our countries are connected. Besides, how the hell did you guys go this far offtopic???

What's your website name?

#15967 My Gun

Posted by Ironman on 07 January 2004 - 08:06 PM in Homemades

I had to change it to a single shot because me and my dad couldn't figure out to make the clip fit into the gun and making the clip wasn't no walk at the beach either. So I will now have a single shot with a slide to cover the hole in which I put the ammo into the gun. I will soon tell how to make the slide airtight. :)

#17560 What Kinda Clips?

Posted by Ironman on 29 January 2004 - 10:32 PM in Homemades

People make them out of wood most of the time. It depends on whether your gun will be spring fed or gravity fed. This will help when deciding what material to use.

How do you make a gravity fed magazine?

#17589 What Kinda Clips?

Posted by Ironman on 30 January 2004 - 10:45 AM in Homemades

Is it not so blunty obvious that a gravity fed magazine would be powered by gravity, a downward pulling force? Well, it doesn't pull down, but inwards, but it appears down from where we are on the surface of the earth.
Anyways, yes, gravity fed it much easier to make.

Sorry, I was really tired last night and wasn't thinking. -_-
