Also, I noticed that there is a dart in the middle of the turret. This must mean either
a. its for storage
b. all shots fire at once
c. each has a seperate airtank/plunger (like the Big Salvo)

Pretty much. Usually, the plunger makes a seal and moves forward, creating pressure at the base of the barrel. In this case, the barrel makes a seal and moves backwards…with the same net result.

If you used this technique, couldn't you make a gun that you wouldn't have to cock? How about attaching a barrel to the handle and using that to shove the barrel back, propelling the dart forwards?

Yes. That is how a reactor works.

If I do the A/R removal and the brass barrel. Will stock darts(That is the darts that come with the gun right?) still fly far? I'm just asking cause I did the limiter removal on my Maverick and my darts that came with the gun lost half the range.

The only problem I see is that you would not have a decent airseal. All the air would escape in the space between the shell and the normal brass. You would have to use an automated breech like FA24 or Pissbacon did to seal the shells.

Nice work as always, Carbon. Good thing that you managed to remedy that "flying metal" issue. Given more time, that bent charging handle could have easily cut you or whatever else decided to be in its way. Also, it might be feasible to make a pump-action handle to operate the system. If the new charging handle also flies forward, then you just need to configure a rod to push the unit back and then freely slide back forward. With all the grip space available forward of the trigger, the idea might work.

God Damn, beat me to it. This would be a nice pump action, although with it not being a breech loader it probably won't help ROF that much...

This is a completley feasiable idea that I plan to use once I complete my SNAP.
I will have a 17/32 barrel with 9/16 as a seal inside 1/2'' PVC with a slot in it. 1'' PVC is over the 1/2'' and has a nail goung through the slot and connects to the 17/32 brass. When the 1'' foregrip is pulled back, it pushes the 17/32 brass into the plunger tube and forces the plunger rod to the catch. Then the dart is loaded in the 17/32 barrel via an opening in the PVC. Lastly, the foregrip moves forward and completes the seal.

I use a large hacksaw, pipe cutter, and a wire cutter, and my brass cuts are horrible. I sometimes have to reshape the brass for half an hour to get it to fit into the seal. What tool does everyone use to cut it so well?

For the last couple weeks, I have been working on the Angel Breech for my longshot. Had it finished and was happy with it, until I realized that it needed one more minor adjustment. Took it apart, and while I was fixing it, the piece vital to the gun broke for the second time. Having this break, along with many other frustrations along the way has made me throw this project away in disgust.

So now I am considering using some of the parts of the gun (BBB spring, longshot spring, brass, plunger, etc) for other modifications. I'm not going to say this for definite, as I am guessing there are people that might want to buy the spare parts, but I'll think on it until I calm down a bit from this project.

The big question I want to ask is what guns can easily accept the longshot and BBB spring, and would be worth it to go and buy, mod, etc. Ive heard the crossbow is great, but hard to find and expensive. What other guns might be good?

What peice do you need. Captain Slug is selling off all the internals of one of his LongShots.

I'm going to be getting a new gun. I want to mod it, maybe even just crayola barrels. But I need some suggestions on what to get. I havent been around many nerf guns, only the ones I own (NF, LS, FireFly, Mav)
I want a decent ROF, but Ok distances too. Maybe a breech loading BBB or a Salvo 6 (I belive it's called that)
So if you could give me some tips/suggestions on good guns that arent too crappy that would be great.
