First post!!! Ok this was the first mod i did on my own without copying anyone!!!(sorry no pics cant find my camera but is is reasonably easy to understand)
materials:
A Nite Finder EX-3
a Firefly REV-8
a small phillips head screw driver
a bit of free time
READ THIS FIRST!!! This mod requires the spring of the firefly, if you want to keep it then don't attempt this mod!!!
first open up your NF and take out the barrel. remove the peg air restrictor and spring. Next take out the plunger mech. Ok now time to work with the Firefly. Take out the screws. Now unscrew the plunger and remove it. now remove the spring and the O-ring. Put the o ring on the plunger thing next to the one in the NF. Now unscrew the O-Ring thing and take it off. Put the Firefly spring on there too. Screw the O-ring thing back on there and put the plunger system back together. Don't forget to screw it back in! Now do whatever you want to the gun.
Congrats it is finished!!!!!!

I) I'm going to assume this is your first discussion forum you joined. This isn't a chat room or AIM.
Either finish the post, or save it until you're complete in thought and method, then post.
I usually do all my instructional/ long-winded posts on MS Word, then copy and paste into NH when it's complete, including all the picture links.
II) We don't take kindly to AIM-speak around these parts. Please refreain from using such abbreviations.

I just went to G-forces house today, as he is a good friend of mine, and I gotta tell you, this gun is f*cking metal! ROF ain't that great, But it gets about 40-50 ft. flat. It is very fun to shoot. If any more info is needed, G-force and I will gladly assist.

I hope you brought your screwdriver. If you did, does the Vulcan have an inverse plunger? If you didn't, go back to your house and get your screwdriver.

It's good for a first mod, but if you didn't already know, cosmetics tend to hurt performance. But over all good first mod and welcome to the haven.

If you posted a pic of your barrels, it would help us solve the problem. But just in case you can't, are the darts shredding when they leave the barrel, or when they hit? If it's when they leave the barrel, then you most likely have rough cuts. If it's when they hit. then its velocity. I had the same problem on my turret before i got my dremel.After a recent integration and singling, my AT2K started to tear my darts up. I usually pump it five times but this did not happen before when I had the turret on. My reason for starting this topic is so that I could ask if this has happened to anyone before and if I could fix it. Any help is appreciated.

I'd personally go with a Big Blast, or a turreted Air Tech 2000. For assassins, I'd say its safe to plug the pump on either, just use your better judgment. However, you can never go wrong with a well modded Secret Strike Pocket Blaster.

The same thing happened to me. There are two main problems. 1) The gun is very smooth and shiny, so sprays have trouble adhering. The way to fix this if fine grit sand paper. 200-300 should be fine. 2) You may be holding the can to close to the gun. Try moving the can away, and remember the key rule of thin coats.

Yes, sanding the dye comepletely off could damage the gun if you use to low of a grit, so just sand it lightly. My autozone carries fine grit sand paper, so you might want to check there if you can.

Actually, Bungie said that the Mythic Map Pack would indeed be released with Halo 3: Recon, but...

One word to sum up the night. EffeminateHPHALE. Horus lost connection, other people left, which left Shiny, Spacecowboy, Glass, and me. It was still very fun when everyone was there, and it is sad that the rapage lasted for only like 4 rounds. Oh well, mabey another time.
