Basic AR removal, and I stuck the top of the bolt sled to the jam door so it opens everytime I pull the bolt back; like a real rifle.

#134345 Nerf Recon Ar Removal

Posted by agentM192 on 29 December 2007 - 09:40 PM in Modifications

So to remove the AR, you have to keep poking it until it comes out the back? Why; is something holding it in place that you can't take off? Could you drill it out through the back?

#96517 Nerf Vs. Paintball

Posted by agentM192 on 14 December 2006 - 04:23 PM in Articles

I'm a frequent paintballer, and I picked Nerf up as a nice alternative that I can play in my house and with my friends that have VERY protective mothers. Paintball is a very expensive sport, and you need 2 days to devote to it. One day to play and then rest, and the second day to take apart your gun, clean it out, and everything so it doesn't crap out. I can't do that every weekend. But let's face it, paintball is more popular*, but it's not better, just different.
*Have you seen any Nerf magazines? No. Have you seen aftermarket upgrades for Nerf guns? No. Is Nerf on TV? (I wish) No. Don't flame me, it's true.
Edit: Ooopps, give me a strike.

#96464 Electronic Nerf Gun

Posted by agentM192 on 13 December 2006 - 09:45 PM in General Nerf

I think you're missing the point. I'm talking so you don't have to pump it up; just turn it on and let er' rip.

#96433 Electronic Nerf Gun

Posted by agentM192 on 13 December 2006 - 03:31 PM in General Nerf

It doesn't have to be homemade, but it's just an idea for Hasbro. And if you're saying you can't mass produce electronic guns, then why do they mass produce electronic paintball and airsoft guns?

#96513 Electronic Nerf Gun

Posted by agentM192 on 14 December 2006 - 03:49 PM in General Nerf

I wonder if Hasbro knows about people like us, and if they like us or not. They probably do because we buy lots of them. They don't like the fact that we take air restrictors, which is just about the blasters on means of a safety feature.

They don't like the fact that we take air restrictors, which is just about the blasters on means of a safety feature. I got an idea earlier, to make a full auto gun without pumping. You pull back a handle, that turns a gear counter-clockwise. So the gear launches the darts. The trigger holds the gear, and when you squeeze it, it let's the darts rip. So you'll actually see the cocking handle moving in as you fire it. There would have to be some kind of clip system that is spring loaded, so you could shoot it fast enough. I don't know if this has been made or thought of before, but I know a gear shoots darts in some gun. Hasbro could possibly target an older audience, where price isn't as big a deal.

Alright settle down. I was wrong. I'm still pretty new. It was just an idea.

I posted a couple times, then left for a long time, then came back. That's how.

#96387 Electronic Nerf Gun

Posted by agentM192 on 12 December 2006 - 09:21 PM in General Nerf

I just got an idea; why not make an electronic nerf gun? I'm talking one that runs solely on a rechargeable or replaceable battery. So it could be true semi-automatic (You don't have to cock it; only reload it.) They make electronic paintball guns that shoot insanely fast, like 30 balls per second*, but use an air tank. So maybe just using a battery could keep it safe( r ).
*Average stock paintball gun shoots around 8-10 BPS.

#96516 Pump Action Shotgun Modification 2

Posted by agentM192 on 14 December 2006 - 03:54 PM in Modifications

Very, very nice. I can build and homemade-mod anything except nerf guns. If I tried, I would go through tons of those things. Wish I could just buy it off of ya'.

#97771 Turreted Big Blast...of Doom

Nice. Mine quit on me too, and I couldn't get it open because the screws were pre-fucked.

People might think you're lightin' turds on fire!! :P :D   But looks fun for all of the pyromaniacs out there!

#134203 Recon Close Up

Posted by agentM192 on 28 December 2007 - 04:36 PM in General Nerf

Where did you guys happen to find one of these? I didn't see them on Target's website and the only one on amazon was like $45 And wow a $20 price tag.

#134205 What Got You Started Nerfing?

Posted by agentM192 on 28 December 2007 - 04:41 PM in General Nerf

Paintball doesn't fair too well in the house. And my friends and I were sick of guns shooting like 5 feet so I wanted to see how to make them more powerful so I just did a google search.

Try rotating the chamber around. The part with the two grooves should face the right-hand clam shell.

That Tiberius Tac 8 is allowed on every field I ever went to. It shoots 68 cal paint semi-automatically. No problem. And that XM8 is actually a Smart Parts SP8. And a 24 Inch barrel, wow that is long.

#134220 Other Sports Or Shooting Sports

I think they're all excellent. Each of them has qualities that the other doesn't.

You can see which one I like to play.

Cool. Must be similar to holding and firing a paintball gun.

#96560 An Idea For Hasbro.

Posted by agentM192 on 14 December 2006 - 09:17 PM in General Nerf

But back to the Good guys bad guys thing.
Most of us have probably seen the movie "Small Soldiers".
In it there are two sides, the Commandos and the Gorgonites.
(Ok so now ignore the plot of the story.)
Each are cool in their own way. Neither of them are truly evil. It is a matter of perspective. But they are against eachother. Hasbro could take a line in that sort of direction.

Its funny because there actually was a small soldiers line. SM500 and SM5000 repaints.

I know, I just wish that they had been produced in a larger quantity, and that the series would have been expanded on. They could have doon some pretty sweet stuff with that.

Yeah but the soldier dudes had real guns and grenades, while the other dudes had like middle-ages weaponry. (Bows, maces, etc.)

#50923 Sony Psp

Posted by agentM192 on 28 March 2005 - 08:15 PM in Off Topic

ya since I'm a mario man, I natrually got the DS. I overestimated it. The games are sooo bad for it. My brother has the PSP, I played it, and I loved it. I'm gettin one for my birthday. Also my friend's DS came deffective, it kept forgetting his name and stuff, so it's nothing great. Also how would bending it shoot out the UMD thingy?

#96462 Mod Guide With Pics

Posted by agentM192 on 13 December 2006 - 09:32 PM in Modifications

Can someone please give me a step-by-step guide on simple mods; removing air restrictors, etc. With pictures possibly. Trust me I have searched and everything. I want a step-by-step guide with pictures! because every time I try to replace something or take something out, I always end up throwing it out. I need pictures because I'm the type of person that is very visual, or spacial. I want to take out the restrictors on my longbow, and possibly put in a new barrel with minimal cutting. So minimal cutting = minimal mistakes that cannot be undone...easily. I really don't want to chuck another gun out. I ended up chucking out my tech target gun earlier after trying to put my paintball gun's barrel on there and actually having the dart come out. IT WASN'T THE BARREL!! I know that because I could make it go through with a small puff of air from my mouth. If I put the barrel vertical, the dart slipped through it fairly easily. I'm hoping to put it on my crossbow now without fucking anything up this time. YOUR HELP WOULD BE GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thank you for taking time to read this block of text.

#96508 Mod Guide With Pics

Posted by agentM192 on 14 December 2006 - 03:28 PM in Modifications

Yes I meant a crossbow. And I didn't toss it yet, it's pretty much rendered useless by itself. What can I do with the remaining parts? I think I have some NF parts too.
Edit: Ok I just ended up chucking my maverick agaainst the cement steps because I followed baghead's mod to the letter. I hot glued all around the edges, and it made it shoot even worse. Then I couldn't get the original poles back on, so I'm really pissed and about to quit modding because it seems like I can't mod any-fucking thing. I'm probably just going to keep everything stock, or just take things out that I can put things back in. But it seems like the Airtech 3000's and 4000's just suck completley, so now I only have 2 3000's and 1 4000, a Crossbow, and a POS Tech Target somewhere.

#97575 The Crs12 Mavshot

Posted by agentM192 on 02 January 2007 - 06:33 PM in Modifications

Very nice. But I don't think it looks too practical or easy to fire without excessive effort. (Extending arm to cock maverick, reloading either, cocking LS) As mentioned above.

#50925 Modded Xbox

Posted by agentM192 on 28 March 2005 - 08:19 PM in Off Topic

my brother did it to his. It **** it up (sorry about that). Every game's text was either some other language that I don't know, or it just dissorted the text. Plus he couldn't get it shut. And when I was plugging the power cord into the XB, I got shocked! It wasn't bad, but it hurt! I don't suggest it to newbies. I ended up buying an xbox for myself

#97810 New Nerf Tech Target!

Think you can put that spring in a longshot or the 3rd gen nightfinder? (Yellow one)

Can anyone answer please?

#97489 Crossbow : Where To Buy

Posted by agentM192 on 31 December 2006 - 09:55 PM in Modifications

Keep in mind though, the Longshot is a tad more complex than the Crossbow, as far as mods go. Don't get me wrong, I love my Longshot and my Crossbow, but the Crossbow is very easy to mod and re-assemble while the Longshot may take some more time if you're new.

#52594 Do You Recommend The Maverick?

Posted by agentM192 on 15 April 2005 - 08:18 PM in General Nerf

I don't recomend the Maverick. 1 because mine always jammed and I had 2 of em. 2 it was big and bulky and heavy in the front. 3, ummm, because when I had friends over we played and no one wanted the mavericks but wanted the nitefinders! I personally don't recomend them. Did I mention the reloading system is a pain and jam's? :) and I was also playing indoors. about 27-35 ft. long and wide

#52701 Do You Recommend The Maverick?

Posted by agentM192 on 17 April 2005 - 04:56 PM in General Nerf

yes I agree with that... HEY that was my point that I was trying to get across. So you have my vote for it's crap.

#52597 Do You Recommend The Maverick?

Posted by agentM192 on 15 April 2005 - 08:54 PM in General Nerf

The way it jammed was I put a dart in this one hole and it kept on just popping up! Not the dart but the chamber was bad. Plus the darts sometime's popped out just enough to jam so I got shot when unjamming it. I personally don't recomend it stock because if you mod it you might fix these flaws.

#134353 Paint

Posted by agentM192 on 29 December 2007 - 11:06 PM in General Nerf

Coming from personal experience, testors paint can wear off very easily if the surface is not sanded as well as any other paint I have used on plastics.

#51048 Mp5 Nite Finder

Posted by agentM192 on 29 March 2005 - 05:27 PM in Modifications

ya that's really nice. If you want it to look realalistic, give the NF it self some paint and the PVC handles and barrels some paint too. Otherwise looks really great! And is it a pain to reload? Because you have to take off the front

#96512 Snowstorms

I live in the southernmost point of New York. The weather here is just fucked. Like last week, it was freezing. This week we've had it in the low 40's to low 50's all week. I wouldn't be suprised if we get like no snow this year.

#96597 My Paintball Gun Paint Job

Better idea; don't let this thread, or any part of the forum, descend into a paintball v airsoft v Nerf hen-fest.
Ever.

Take the woodsball v speedball argument to PBNation, if you must.

-Piney-

ps; On topic; nice A-5, M192. Many of us PB, but we place our priority on Nerf while here.

Yes please don't get thise thread closed. :D Oh and that's why I put it in the Off Topic forum. And I suggest that you don't go on PBnation. A lot, not saying all of, those guys are meatheads. They have threads on how to cheat, just giving the sport an even worse image than it already has. I didn't know a lot of people play paintball here. That's a nice suprise :)
