#133590 Modification and Paintjob Pictures
Posted by keef on 23 December 2007 - 09:36 PM in Modifications
Its a CPVC breech, and has the pump plugged, firing pin fixed, and the tilt things removed. Gets 140 feet+ with a streamline with a BB in it.
My titan missle has a 1" PVC endcap duck taped on. I shot a box and it DESTROYED it. Gets 60 feet with 20 pumps.
My SS2. Everyone says the valve is "finicky" but mine is PERFECT. Has a plugged pump too.I can pump it 28 times and shoot through 2 sides of a box. OMC's PETG with etape around it to fit at2k pump tube. Gets around 100 feet with taggers at 12 pumps.
Edit: SS2 is plugged, and please excuse the foot and the retainers.

That used to be my turreted 3k. Now its more of a assault gun.
Its pump is plugged, and is a bitch to pump fast. I don't recommend plugging 3k's.
My new 4k. Its OMC thickwall PETG (4") and shoots 70 at least. I just need to change the pump handle, very small. Oh yeah, got this from OMC.
Comparison. The assault3k, or the a3k, or thecake. The 4k is very big as you can see. But it isn't unwieldy. The bottom 3k is my ROF3k. I did a CPVC turret thing like Wrath with a 1/2" coupler. I prefer this much over my turreted ones.
Lastly, my SM750. All I did was jam a 1/2" PVC coupler over the old barrel and plug the pump. 50", not so good... Maybe its my barrel (4" of brass). PM me.
PS I REALLY like that mini-mini LS. Make a wrightup or something

Heres my Trigger Fire. 1/2" CPVC modded with foam to stabilize the barrel. Really fun to use too. Gets at least 60-80 feet.
Also, the duct tape is temporary, its ugly but quick.

Yes its awesome, yes its comfortable, yes it will shoot you.
I'm attaching a SMDTB, and 2 Hornet chambers to it. Coming to you in... maybe 2 weeks at the most.
Brass Breeched SF
I fixed it after ECNO, darts kept sliding out of the PETG, and I had to ramrod them.
My fixed Big Blast. I added foam on the handle and cheek rest, added ammo holders, and fixed my pump by lubing it, and gluing PVC in it to secure it inside the gun.
Finally, my favorite one. Soon.
Its a Bow and Arrow. I made a new plunger of PVC because the old one was weak, thin plastic. I think its 3/4" PVC, but it might be 1". It fits same as the real one. I just need to sand the PVC to make it fit inside with screws, and add a Carbon trigger.
Have fun.

I'm selling this Longshot on Ebay when I'm done with it. Its singled, painted, and has a "silencer" on it. The paint is flat black, silver specks, and a tint of bronze with a double layer of Matte finish. I'm looking for someone to buy it for around 80 hopefully... PM me if wanted.

It still needs to be finished but my sister dropped the black can and "accidentally" slammed it between the garage door and the concrete and it got all over my dads car....
I think I'm gonna keep it this way though...

The BBBB has a 17/32 and 9/16 telescoping barrel, sleeved in PVC with PETG to make a seal in the PVC connected to the airtank. With a okay stefan, it gets 105+. With a Tagger w/o a tagger head, it gets 80-90 feet.
The SF is 17/32 (I think... great fit on stock darts) in two inches of 9/16 brass. Gets 80 feet with taggers, not tested with stefans.
Matches with my sisters "great design pattern" in the bathroom. My parents just want her to because a interior designer, but she failed.
In hand
Told you my sister has bad taste.
My "homemade" is just 2k pump in 1/2 PVC with a CPVC barrel. The darts have e-tape over them to prevent ripping.

The NF cocking handle is attached by Loctite (thanks Renegade), and Epoxy Putty (thanks Baghead).
I'm still looking for a more secure trigger pull for it.

CPVC turret, marvelous salvo slopped on. Top tank leaks, pretty annoying. Going to try a fix I thought of soon.

The paintjob could use some touchups, but I may just go all Bags on it with some X-metals paint or something...
I was thinking about a paintjob like Kevinericon's, but that was too much time and work, so I just kept the blue, blue. And now that I look at it, it looks like Galaxy13's...
Other side.
To keep the Nerf logo, it took me 20 minutes to tape right... It was worth it.
The frontgun integration wouldn't catch right when I joined the triggers, so I put the wire under the magazine plate, with a keyring. At least it gets >30 feet with a tagger, which I'm extremely happy about.
Theres the trigger.
Both brass
Right now, I have a Angel Breach in, and a AR15 spring in, but its not catching right. I may change out the main spring until I find a better catch spring. It gets no less than 999 feet and no more than 1000 feet flat.
Edit: Additions...
Also, my Singled Light Storm 2. Got this from Badger at Apoc, and was too complex for me to keep the clip so I made a pistol cannon. Gets at least 75 feet.
How I hold it.
Singled hornet. Uses the blast button and 1 chamber, but goes VERY far.

New project. A lil video to start it off. Kbarker will be glad.
Not glued. Needs a little more quick fitting.
Explodes every shot! ©
Only a couple things I've been doing. I'm just waiting on another Longshot, to be lancerized by me.

As you can see I did the frontgun integration. It gets 7 feet max, and used to get 20ish. Notice how it isn't completely glued. I wanted to try it first. Good thing I did. The linked trigger worked well, and it felt good, but the gun sucked.
So now I think I'm gonna add rails to the bottom and make it reattachable like kalentar13's 2nd LS integration idea.
PM me for your opinion.
Also, I have a nice video of the joined trigger. I find it pretty cool. Hasbro should of made the LS with the frontgun inside there. I think that would be a great marketing point. 2 guns in one.

Rototrack, from badger. Waiting on the belt holder on top.
New LS from OMC. CS grip, NF spring, AR's out. Not sure what I want to do with it yet...
LS Attachment, a SM3000 Green Airtank inside. Leaks slowly, but works ok...
Heres the trigger and wire for it.
Light Storm 2! Semi auto gun with HUGE airtank... Stock for now... Got a few ideas.
Titan... WIP, doesn't pump???
Edit:
Guy under me, your vulcan looks AMAZING!!!! Great job, I love it! I'm trying to do a silver/ future theme on my other LS now...
#136928 Homemades Picture Thread
Posted by keef on 22 January 2008 - 09:26 PM in Homemades
I just used more primer because I didn't know how far the fitting would go. Better safe than sorry.
I'd use more PSI, but I'm using a bike pump, and I don't want to to explode. I get 200+ feet 10*, so thats fine for me.
#136925 Homemades Picture Thread
Posted by keef on 22 January 2008 - 08:52 PM in Homemades
Its all straight. I know the barrel is too short. I need to reglue the snader valve. With a stock tagger it shot 400 feet angled 20* (more or less). When I shoot it 20 PSI ( I always shoot it 15-25 PSI) it dents the drywall with a BB tipped streamline.
Its a screw bleed, but if I turn it fast, it releases air fastly.
This is the trigger I'm trying to add. Could someone help me with this part?
Also, since a solenoid is powered by an electric magnetic coil, could I use a magnet as a trigger?
I'm using it at ECNO by the way!
Forgot to resive, sorry

Oh my god, taking a black nerf gun to a park won't do shit. A cop will be called by a parent, or someone, you'll shit you pants when they come, drop the gun, and run. They aren't gonna "pop a cap in your ass" they will just aim unless there are any sudden movements or pointing it towards people or anything.
Oh, and I never posted any feedback yet. I love the gun, looks just like the lancer. Are you really going to use the chainsaw though? I'd think you use this for long range assassin, anyway.
If Angel is using this for actual Nerfing, I doubt anyone would call the heat if everyone else's guns were yellow, blue, purple, and orange.
Edit:
The only thing that may pop out your ass is a dump of fear.
#159919 Modifying A Longshot?
Posted by keef on 21 June 2008 - 02:00 PM in Modifications
All this reinforcing crap, you don't need to!
With a BBB/ LS spring combo or just a AR15 spring, you'll just need a new plunger head (washers, new screws), or a better one.
Also, epoxy putty on the sides does nothing, its just dumb.

The Other brand I tried broke so easy. Bent and cracked if you dropped it. (Slight eggageration).
And CS,
Have you had any problems with the LS bolt sliding forward, or firing after cocking? Mine misfires and shoots itself.

I used a drill bit to get it out too. Just push the bolt into the plunger and drill it. I used a bit that was like a sanding bit, but metal. Then use pliers to pull it out.

so the 1/2 inch is where the dart goes into and how close to petg does it fit because it fits may dart perfectly i want to try this thanks in advance
Actually it goes into the 19/32", which is pretty much the new bolt. The 1/2" brass stops the dart from being sucked into the plunger, mainly. Thats how I've always seen it, correct me if I'm wrong, Angel.

OMC could problem contact them and get a pass. If the dates not good for him I could go if z80 can't.
Sounds really cool, I like looking at new products and that stuff.

Sounds gay, I hate batteries. A airsoft battery would be way more efficient.
If its as bad as it sounds, maybe you could hide in the shell and pop out!

Just if people don't get that ^ (cleavage).
It looks really cool that you could attach all the chains like that.
It be be great for inside wars, or for imaseoulman's idea.

Seems like you're familiar with airsoft. Here's what I've been wondering. People have been buying custom MOSFETs for 3rd burst and stuff. I've been wondering the whole time, anyone think that MOSFET could replace the stock electronics to give it auto and burst settings?Try switching out the Tamiya wire connectors with "Deans Ultras". People use them in airsoft, and they work GREAT for me!
I love the vulcan! Airsoft batteries FTW!
Select fire capabilities combined with the use of airsoft battery packs may bet me to buy one of these. Though electrical work beyond soldering is a little beyond me.
Ohh a mosfet could work VERY well. We'd just need to experiment.
I'm thinking more about the capacitor additions though.
http://www.airsoftre...9&topic=58086.0
There you can see the deans. Very nice connectors. Also, the capacitors.
They help to "increase trigger response", but with more added by the trigger, and rotation mech, it could also improve ROF.

Its not going to be anywhere as bad as the Firefly. TRUST me. The plunger rod goes back too far in OMC's pictures for the plunger to be small.
Sorry, posted twice internal service error.
