The three tanks on the back are detachable if anybody starts bitching. Also, this entire project cost me absolutely nothing; everything used was either given to me, found in the garage, or found in the junk bin at school.

I did all the mods, spring replacement, rear loading, turret seal replacement, the works.
And I got...
The Transgender Cannon
This is what happens when you do all the mods, and average low sixties, with a tailwind.

If you want to make it a bit easier, just get the +bow plunger tube and cut it to the length of the PAS plunger tube. It fits perfectly with a few wraps of e-tape.Ah, so I'm guessing +bow ranges?
I'm going to try to do it with the PAS Plunger tube.

all for the cost of free
two tees, 4 elbows, and a zip tie. I might do a writeup sometime, but its pretty damn easy to figure out.

The wrist breaker, an atempt at a homemade ratchet blast that went very wrong. Solid steel construction, loosely based on the LAB but due to split's impossibly shitty templates and writeups everything was redesigned.
Fully TIG welded on all connections, good for 10,000 pounds of force.
Relatively small draw, but large diameter plunger tube. And it can handle ridiculous spring strengths due to the sideplates taking all the force.
yep

On obviously gundam inspired paintjob that was finished a couple months ago. The +bow itself was built a year ago with only a cordless drill, a dremel, and a jigsaw held upsidedown between my legs.
Not enough people use the integration holes, so I decided to change that.
Homemade sheet metal brackets hold each gun on, with a pair of screwdrivers to make it ghetto-fabulous. It also makes it easy to remove mid round if you want to rock just one gun of the pair.
I've got a few guns set up to use this way, but the Lightning Blitz is by far my favorite.

It's a shitty picture, but it gets the point across. PAS with +Bow internals, gets respectable ranges. Writeup and more info to come when I get a better camera.

WHAT ABOUT IT?
CHECK THE FREAKING DATES!!!
The last post was Jan 24 2008, still a bit long. The 2006 was the first post, not the last. Done and done, sorry for the backseat mod.

Another teaser.

From the looks of it, that handle has no foam. Did you make a molded handle, or is it just not finished?
I'm guessing the answers will come soon. Also, the frosty plastic looks nice.

#166535 The Vulcan: Internals And Mods! New Mods Pg.9!

My only other thought so far is using one chain and fusing it together in a loop,so that I have one continuous chain, I can add bullets as fast as I can on the fly, and keep a consinstant automatic gun going.
This is a fantastic idea in my opinion. Having just purchased my vulcan i understand that logic and I'm going to end up trying that one. The only problem is making sure to line up the blank shell so you can remove the chain.

#350264 PCSR: A new homemade design
Posted by CaliforniaPants on 29 December 2015 - 02:11 AM in Homemades
shit post 4 LYFE
i thought you were talking about the eye on the end, thats what i meant for files. my bad. however there;s a thing called a tap and die set, it works very well for cutting threads. people have been using it for a long time.
now i understand the plunger setup, does it have any problems with it riding against the inside of the tube and dragging? my worry would be that over time as the spring shortens it would not have the same pressure against it and would cause it to go a little cocked down the plunger tube and rub away at the material, then making the seal not be square and causing issues. places 2 and 5 being the concerns. obviously this is a long term thing but still a concern.

are you upset? you seem upset.
your complaints about the plunger rod being a special piece are nullified by the fact that you still have used a 3d printer every step of the way, which is arguably way more specialized and hard to replicate compared to a lathe; which you could easily replicate with a file and some time. especially your plunger head which seems needlessly complicated in shape just because you could.

Ok guys I have been talking to Nerfer9 and even though he is banned he will still be there and the war is still on. I am not going to be there but he will. The war is on, hope you guys have a good time.
How are you talking to him? And ask him this, how many people are ACTUALLY coming, not people that he just put on there.
