#261636 "paintball" Guns

Posted by Hi Yah on 12 January 2010 - 10:22 PM in General Nerf

It looks like a pistol splat on steroids. Also, you mentioned that the spring is longer, but is it stronger?

#262014 "paintball" Guns

Posted by Hi Yah on 16 January 2010 - 11:27 AM in General Nerf

Thanks for all the pictures. This gun looks very promising.

#256634 "silencing" My Nf

Posted by Hi Yah on 17 November 2009 - 08:42 PM in Modifications

How is the fbr method expensive? It cost about $3 for a 20' roll, and you only need about 1' to silence it. That's about 15 cents to silence your nf.

#226277 7 Shot Scattergun Attachment

Posted by Hi Yah on 26 April 2009 - 05:51 PM in Modifications

Thanks for all the support, guys! I actually prefer not to plug pumps on my air guns because I don't really trust myself. I thought about it and I'll probably plug up the 7th barrel. I want bettter ranges, dammit!

While at it you might aswell do a tank expansion.

#269643 A New Petg Breech

Posted by Hi Yah on 19 March 2010 - 06:58 PM in Darts and Barrels

Why not just use e-tape to allow the PETG to slide in the PVC, instead of the brass?

#231770 A Nice Find...

Posted by Hi Yah on 21 May 2009 - 09:11 PM in Modifications

This is pretty cool. I'm wondering what the name of the gun is?

#231162 A Short Story.

Posted by Hi Yah on 18 May 2009 - 07:02 PM in General Nerf

These guns look really similar to the SM5000 and a SM500.

#240169 Air Zone Scorpion Bow Optimization

Posted by Hi Yah on 04 July 2009 - 05:03 PM in Modifications

I did something similar to my bbb, except I cut the CPVC coupler in half and glued it inside the PVC coupler. Then, I glued that to the front.

#253725 Airtech 3000 Overhaul

Posted by Hi Yah on 17 October 2009 - 07:30 AM in Modifications

Couldn't you cut down the pump so all the tubing is internal?

#255421 Airtech 4000 Overhaul

Posted by Hi Yah on 05 November 2009 - 06:55 PM in Modifications

Great work as usual. I definitely think the at4k is an underestimated gun. Nice mod.

#232037 An Open Letter To New Posters And Anyone On The Waiting List!

Posted by Hi Yah on 23 May 2009 - 01:15 PM in General Nerf

This is a great thread. This is exactly what I did. I lurched around the site for 1 year, and then I created an account. Is it really that hard to make proper posts and read the COC?

#276399 Angel Breeched Longshot Help

Posted by Hi Yah on 30 May 2010 - 05:45 AM in Modifications

Try fishin' glue.

#261727 Angel Breeched Spring Replacement

Posted by Hi Yah on 13 January 2010 - 09:12 PM in Modifications

Try an Ace 69 spring.

#245751 Another At3k Question

Posted by Hi Yah on 06 August 2009 - 06:02 AM in Modifications

With a tight barrel I would recommend 6 inches.

#229424 Anything Better Than Nite Finder?

Posted by Hi Yah on 10 May 2009 - 05:19 PM in General Nerf

Big Blast are about $9, give superb ranges, and make great primaries.

#260201 At2k Help Needed

Posted by Hi Yah on 30 December 2009 - 06:56 PM in Modifications

I too believe that you busted your check valve. Also, why do you make so many help threads?

#266047 At2k Help/fix

Posted by Hi Yah on 19 February 2010 - 07:23 PM in General Nerf

If the pump is plugged the lump of hot glue might have busted your check valve.

#237253 At2k Problems

Posted by Hi Yah on 18 June 2009 - 08:22 PM in General Nerf

Ok guys I`m haveing troubles with my air tech. When it`s closed it pumps but when it`s open it works fine. I`m desperet for help if you thimk you know what it is then send me a message. It would really help.

You say when its closed it pumps, but when it's open it works fine. What is the problem? You never say what happens when you try to fire it closed.

P.S. even a working air gun will pump when closed, and when it's open, work fine.

EDIT: mr.little beat me. Please ignore.

#270463 At2k Turret

Posted by Hi Yah on 27 March 2010 - 10:20 AM in Modifications

Dip the barrel side of the turret in boiling water of about 10 seconds. This should soften the glue and the barrels should come out.

#266330 At3k Barrel Help

Posted by Hi Yah on 21 February 2010 - 03:38 PM in General Nerf

Use CPVC that's is drilled out with a 1/2" drill bit.

#256920 At3k Internals Questions

Posted by Hi Yah on 21 November 2009 - 08:32 AM in Modifications

Use 3/16 barbed connectors. I know Home Depot has them, but I don't know if Ace has them.

#256889 At3k Internals Questions

Posted by Hi Yah on 20 November 2009 - 09:46 PM in Modifications

You could just cut the tubing as close to the goo gauge as possible, on both sides. Then you can attach tubing with barbed connectors.

#274322 Barrel Length Guide . . .

Posted by Hi Yah on 08 May 2010 - 08:51 PM in Modifications

For your nf barrel lenghts I would recommend 4"-4.5" for CPVC. And about 5" if you're using brass. Brass isn't as tight as CPVC. And PETG is in between CPVC and brass.

#252785 Bbb Spring

Posted by Hi Yah on 06 October 2009 - 07:52 PM in Modifications

I would recommend using a recon spring, with 1.5 of a nf replacement spring, and a PVC coupler cut to 0.75 inches.

#250897 Bbb Value Questions

Posted by Hi Yah on 19 September 2009 - 07:30 PM in Modifications

Definitely get the bbb. I'm a huge fan of bbb's and for $20 they make pretty good primaries. Just coupler it and slap on a RSCB and you'll get range and rof.

#234277 Bbbb : Lerazor Variant

Posted by Hi Yah on 04 June 2009 - 02:24 PM in Modifications

"Rear loading was well over 200ft"
I'm calling BS on that

Yeah, that's is impossible for a big blast to shoot 200 feet.

#259638 Berserker Fusion! Daikaiju!

Posted by Hi Yah on 23 December 2009 - 10:33 AM in Modifications

Couldn't you just take a heat gun to some CPVC and bend it so it fits in the shell? This would remove the need of an elbow and cut down on the dead space.

#245166 Berserker Internals

Posted by Hi Yah on 02 August 2009 - 12:41 PM in General Nerf

How good is the rotation mechanism?

#248027 Berserker Mod

Posted by Hi Yah on 21 August 2009 - 07:28 PM in Modifications

How hard was it to remove the ar's out of the turret? I've heard they were a bitch to remove. Anyway, nice mod.

#267289 Best Barrel For Stock Darts?

Posted by Hi Yah on 27 February 2010 - 09:12 PM in Modifications

CPVC drilled out with a 1/2" drill bit.

#240497 Big Bad Bow Mod

Posted by Hi Yah on 06 July 2009 - 06:10 PM in Modifications

This is a very good beginner mod, that gives decent ranges with minimal modding, but your not going to get over 100 feet flat with it. Those ranges you posted are bullshit.

#274039 Big Bad Bow Modding Trouble

Posted by Hi Yah on 04 May 2010 - 09:32 PM in Modifications

You have a tampon on your gun. There's your problem.

#275353 Big Blast Question

Posted by Hi Yah on 19 May 2010 - 07:49 PM in Modifications

Use JB Weld. You can find it in a lot of stores.

#247380 Big Salvo - Firefly Internal Transplant

Posted by Hi Yah on 17 August 2009 - 05:20 PM in Modifications

Great painjob as always Dizzy. It looks way better and more comfy than a big salvo.

#252561 Big Salvo With 3-shot Barrels

Posted by Hi Yah on 04 October 2009 - 07:18 AM in Modifications

I really like how you have the three shotgun barrels and one single shot. It seems very effective. Nice mod.

#265805 Blaster Classification/rating System

Posted by Hi Yah on 17 February 2010 - 08:46 PM in General Nerf

What about RSCB's? Would they get rof points of a single barrel, but get the dart capacity of 2-8? And what if you have a turreted gun with inline clipped barrels?

#271183 Brass Breached Longstrike

Posted by Hi Yah on 03 April 2010 - 07:09 AM in Modifications

Good job. But, what is the purpose of sanding the jam door?

#254183 Breech Lock N' Load

Posted by Hi Yah on 21 October 2009 - 06:39 AM in Modifications

I think if you made the 4 inches you might get better results. Nice job.

#260983 Breeched Bbbb

Posted by Hi Yah on 06 January 2010 - 06:34 PM in Modifications

Nice jpb. Also if the o-ring is bad on this gun too you could replace it with a Danco #17 o-ring.

#227543 Brit's Paint Tutorial

Posted by Hi Yah on 01 May 2009 - 08:21 PM in Modifications

You probably should sand the gun first, so that the paint doesn't affect the moving parts of the gun.
