So I live in Canada and im currently looking to buy foam so I look at www.loghomestore.com and they tell me that shipping is free on a 800ft spool and im thinking whats the catch? So I was just wondering is this normal or are they going to charge me some sort of mysterious fee?

I being a super lazy person take a stock maverick and shoot my tv`s av cable input because its loose and sometimes the yellow (video) wont show up until I move it so I just stay seated and shoot at it with a stock maverick and stock dart.

Well what I did was hot glued where the spring was on the trigger so that it wouldnt go flying out. because sometimes when I used the trigger the spring would go flying out of its little position. I also hot glued where the thing that gets pulled to let the air out? (the piece just above the trigger) so that it wouldnt get screwed up with the trigger. Because sometimes when I didnt hot glue it,it would get out. Basicly I hot glued things so that it wouldnt go out of place.

The gun has the turret system removed and its currently couplered. My problem is that whenever I put the other side of the case on (the side that doesnt have all the parts inside it.) It wont pump. It will pump but the goo will just go back down. So I'm not sure what the problem is if anyone has a solution then please do tell me. Also since I dont have pictures:
The inside is completely stock only the turret system is removed and theres a coupler on the part where the air comes out of. And I think that's it. So theres the problem when case is on it doesnt keep in the air.

I didnt want to post this in tradeing but im selling a currently silver account thats a 50 in halo 3 for 60$ I really dont want to get rid of it considering its my only 50 but I need money to buy more nerf guns which is what I want. i just noticed this now but you can get brass at hobby/train stores and you can find glue guns at craft stores also.

After seeing alot of new members post things like "How do I make stefans?" or "What can I do to my magstrike?" I decided to make this thread to help new people since they seem to lazy to use the search button. Anyways heres the list:

Well I mean H2 where do I buy these things to mod? well....

Plumbers Goop: Most all Hardware stores carry in the plumbing section.

PVC: Any hardware store.

FBR: Found at most hardware stores in the weather section etc.. full name is foam backer rod

Hot Glue Gun and Glue: Any hardware store.

Brass: Sort of rare but can be found at lowes I believe.

I have seen it in all sizes at True Value along with aluminum sheets, which are often used for reinforcement, and music wire. by analogkid

Brass: Tower Hobbies, True Value Hardware, Metal Supply Companies, Industrial Supply Companies, Ace Hardware (limited), Lowes (limited)

PETG: Can be bought from OMC for 50cents a foot and 5$ flat shipping no matter how many feet are bought.

Hacksaws and other blades: Should be able to find at any Hardware store.

Screwdrivers: Hardware stores all of them sometimes even your dollar store.

Ruler: Staples Depot,Hardware stores.

EPOXY: Any hardware store (mighty putty for the win.)

PVC Cement: At any hardware store.

Well I'm new to modding so which gun should I start off with?
The easiest gun to mod currently is probably the Nite Finder and its also cheap for approximetly 5$ sometimes more and if you have more money try a couplered Air Tech 2000 beast of a gun. Oh and a somewhat worthy 8$ primary is definetly the buzzbee big blast.

Whats the hardest to currently mod?
Well I would have to say the longshot since it has more of a complex internal design.

Also a dremel is pretty key to modding things considering alot of mods need a dremel or else there going to turn out really really fugly.

Having the RIGHT tool for the task at hand is very important. Especially when it comes to safety. (quote captain slug)

Well I saw something where the tank/air reservoir type object was made out of 3" PVC with end caps on both ends and hole where the air went from a pump.

EDIT: It will release very fast so long as the trigger is held down.

Okay. This is my first post so I don't want to do anything complicated or anything of that manner. I just want to ask a question. Okay so I've modded a few guns but I 've broke a numerous amount of them. I want to mod a gun that I can find easily at stores and isn't too hard to mod. I've already modded my longshot, tech target, nightfinder, and a dart tag 2 player set gun. I want a gun with lots of power and isn't too hard to mod. Someone please reply.

If you have already modified a Longshot then I personally think your already a decent modder because I would never touch the internals of a longshot but a easy gun to modify is definetly a nite finder. And they get alot of range 50-80 feet depending on what you did.
EDIT: I would watch out people have been starting the exact same topics as you have and it seems like admins get mad at people who make topics that have already been posted a billion times.

Alright ladies and gentlemen i introduce to you the new nerf projectile dubbed "the magnum" which is made up of 3 things and is extremely easy to make and no glue is involved

. Ok so to make this pretty little bullet but by the way I dont think anyone has created a gun that could fit this bullet but I am planning to make one and then maybe in bulk if people like it or it get good ranges and sell it. But anyways heres the actual write up (pics comeing soon in the meant time live with this)

Step 1:

take a toilet roll and cut them into about 2" a piece.

Then step 2:

take a ball from buzzbee and literally stick it into the top of the toilet roll that should be 2" and try to get half of the ball inside it.

Then step 3:

take duct tape that has 2" of length and wrap it around the whole piece once and that will make it have the magnum look.

And then thats it you have successfully created your own nerf magnum projectile.

I think i'm the first one to do this but if im wrong oh well.

The SSPB costs 3 bucks (before inflation). The inflation numbers were taken from ice's $250 NiteFinder.

The SSPB was half of the NF. That means it is now $125 before taxes.
