Upperhand, that's what usually happens with those skirted plunger heads, they stop making a good seal with the plunger after awhile and won't move a lot of air. You see the round center part of the seal where it snaps on the plunger rod? Fold the skirt down and wrap it in electrical tape until its thick enough to help push the skirt onto the plunger tube. Lube it up and she should me back to normal.

Has anyone integrated anything onto their titan and used the 2nd (hornet firing) trigger? Im in the process of doing so...... just curious if anyone has done that, why waste a trigger you already got? If so, im sure myself as well as others would enjoy seeing pics of such guns.

I did this last summer, it didnt turn out so nice. I used to plungers and connected them with 1" pvc, but I could never get it smooth enough to transition from one to the other without the o-ring getting caught so I scrapped the idea. This is cool.... get ranges soon.

Cut the stock barrel down to an inch, drill a large hole in the while air restrictor. Take 2 inches or so of 1/2" cpvc and use a mallet and pund it into the stock barrel until it hits the restrictor. Put a coupler on the cpvc, epoxy and your good to go, its pretty simple dude. KISS, keep it simple stupid.

All you guys need to do to prevent tha magazine from falling is to ad a stronger spring. For those of you with a magstrike in your hands, remove the magazine and look straight down into the magazine well. Look to the right and you will see a green plastic piece that can be pushed in and comes back out with a spring, its like the size of a dime. Take your gun apart and unscrw this, there should be one screw. Add a pen spring along with the existing spring, put the gun back together and try it out. Worked for me but you may need to add more than one extra spring. And sorry about the bad explination I dont have pics...

Thats correct. However, the piece of plastic that was used to push the release valve on the magstrike bladder is way to small for use for the rf20 bladder. As a result the plastic isnt there and nothing can push the release valve, regardless of the bladders size. I cut a hole to allow pushing the botton by hand if somthing happens however.

With a little cutting/dremeling I replaced the stock Magstrike bladder with an old RF20 bladder. I just barely fits even with the necessary cuts in the end of the "stock". I pump the gun approx. 40 times and am able to get 2 full magazines shot off with a little spare air left over. The overpressure release valve dosent work now so you have to be cautious not to over pump. Range seems about the same, but it shoots a little bit faster. Any comments/questions? Pictures may come if there is a want for them.

That is looking very nice. I dont like the size of that bladder though. Can anyone tell me the size of the Magstrike bladder to get an idea of size? Would a RapidFire 20 bladder fit? I would think it would provide much more air volume as the rf20 shoots 20 darts as opposed to 10.

Wow, that is really somthing. I never knew somthing that big happened in the twin cities. I saw some modded guns, pretty cool. They devoted a good 10 minutes on the story and from what I saw it gave nerf some good publicity. Nerf is really taking off, can't wait to see what these new guns this fall will add to the sport. Oh and those "doctors" who claim to know about teen behavior and whatnot dont know anything, they're full of crap.

Yea, if we know the pressure we can accurately measure the correct ammunition for your gun. Its crucial we know the pressure to give us an idea of what were working with. 3nerfiteers and I used that method at least 17 times last summer with outstanding accuracy.

Thats really somthing. I cant wait to see your air powered homemade bullpup rifle. I am also working on a homemade which usis a cycling cylinder to regulate air, I am planning on using 1/2" cpvc for the shells. Thanks for posting your ideas, they really inspire some of us to get out and make a gun.

I use 3/8" O.D. (1/4" I.D.) and its pleanty powerful to launch a water ballon or snowball. Just make sure to get some good leather for a pouch, ad cloth with eventually rip.

The barrel wouldnt need to be as long. When you push the "bolt" forward the brass that would enclose around the dart would just slide forward, out of the pvc barrel. Then a dart pops up and you push the brass back into place.

Use a laserpointer that fits snug in your barrel (wrap it in tape) and turn it on. Then just put the crosshairs or what ever you have on the red dot. EDIT-And nobody cares if your "supposed to" have a scope on a nerf gun, seriously, just let the guy do what he wants.

Tyr an ompa clip, but instead of using one 1 1/2" dart, use two 3/4"darts. Ive never used an ompa clip so I wouldnt know if this would work, im just giving an idea. I'd ask ompa if hes tried this.

I like plunger weapons, so i'd say go with the BBB. Just make sure to make sure she has a good seal and to lube the plunger tube a lot and it should work wonders. The mod took my 5 min. and it shoots about 80' flat. TEST- loser, yea it works

If your friends would even ok you using a homemade in a war, then go for it. Accuracy would be and issue because of the jerking motion of opening the ball valve quickly, lube the valve and it should help a little. You would also have a very slow ROF, unless you put a breech and use 2 ballvalves in your tank like in the homemades section of this site. Your range would be good, but still it wouldnt be very practical in a war.

Well while modding mine yesterday I also ran into that problem. What I did was I got a big screw driver and put it down the barrel until it hits the air restriction , then while holding onto the turret you smash the screwdriver onto a hard surface(make sure the screws in the turret are off...). After doing this a couple times, switch to another barrel and eventuallt while hitting it down, the back of the turret will fly off and air restriction will shoot out, so watch out. Then just punch the pegs out the back, screw the turret back together and there you go.

I got a small, but one good enough for a nerf gun laserpointer for $2 at menards right under the candy at the check-out. It looks to be the size of a nano dart (3/8" foam) and only an inch or so long.
