#153172 Titan Rifle

Posted by Uterly on 25 April 2008 - 10:25 PM in Modifications

There is no way that this is accurate enough to use a scope. A tagger dart is very light and with all the power in the titan they will swerve all over the place.

I guess he's got you beat slug

Only in regards to being full of shit.

Well after looking some more, said scammer is making upwards of 170 dollars on each "100 foot" Recon with 100% positive feedback. So either the people who buy from him are to stupid to actually measure or the recon has some hidden potential. After talking to him, he claims that he put one spring in the stock and added a second spring to the inside with the original. I thought that was already dismissed as impossible but who knows

Posted by Uterly on 02 April 2008 - 01:01 AM in Modifications

This is from a current ebay listing:

I have made numerous internal and external modifications to more than triple the out-of-box range of the Recon. As you may know, the Recon doesn't get much more than 30 ft out of the box, but with these modifications you can reach up to 100ft! That is far more than any other Recon on eBay!

...

I have also added two new springs in addition to the stock spring, so there is a total of 3 springs powering this awesome blaster!

I guess he's got you beat slug

#147840 Kbarker's Dtg Integration

Posted by Uterly on 29 March 2008 - 07:53 PM in Modifications

Since this is combining a spring gun and an air gun I don't know what the question is here. He can't connect the air tanks since only one uses an air tank so therefore he can just connect one to another physically by using tape, glue, or bolts.

Thank you. What exactly do you mean by "lock washers"?

Lock washers^

They make sure those nuts stay put

You can also get them built right into the nut

Looks cool, have you tried longer barrels or do you use stock darts?

Only other thing is to paint it all one color theme

#143769 Recon Ar And New Barrel Replacement

Posted by Uterly on 03 March 2008 - 11:23 PM in Modifications

Why would you single a recon. A higher range can easily be achieved by something like a bbb or even a NF for that matter, and by removing the clip you remove the only good art of the recon, its ROF.

#143576 I Have Done It!

Posted by Uterly on 03 March 2008 - 01:03 AM in Modifications

Slugs method is the best. Do not try anything else. It took me 2.5 seconds and to top it all off, the air restrictor popped out as one whole piece. seriously just do it that way

#141390 Modification and Paintjob Pictures

Posted by Uterly on 19 February 2008 - 08:30 PM in Modifications

I have posted this before but I finally finished the trigger and painted it. This is my titan pistol! While I always loved the power of my titan, it was always annoying to carry around since most of it was useless plastic. So, I integrated the tank and pump into a atom blaster shell which by the way fits perfect. Enough talking...

The barrel can still be unscrewed so I can use my singled and shotgun attachments

I love how much bigger the missile is than the gun

Ya its a beast. I can now have the power of the titan as a small secondary.

#139771 My New Modified Disk Shot Blaster

Posted by Uterly on 12 February 2008 - 05:04 PM in Modifications

Now actually their are only 2 couplers on the blaster. I removed the barrel extension piece (since I use stock darts) and I removed the handle on the bottom and integrated the disk shot remote. Now the only two are on the scope. I don't consider it a waste since the scope actually works and I have about 125 couplers.

Where did you get 125 couplers... Seems kinds overkill

#139694 Btg And Rf100

Posted by Uterly on 11 February 2008 - 11:20 PM in Modifications

The Sch 80 pipe is rated for 192, but I don't know if that's what your using.

Ya but I never mess around with exploding pvc. I stay FAR away from that limit.

#139693 My New Modified Disk Shot Blaster

Posted by Uterly on 11 February 2008 - 11:15 PM in Modifications

looking at the pictures posted in the finished mods and paint jobs thread, this gun win the award for best waste of cpvc couplers with four of them on this gun when only one is used to shoot the gun.

#139316 Nerf Recon Spring Fix

Posted by Uterly on 08 February 2008 - 02:31 PM in Modifications

First its is way too big and second it isn't strong at all. All it is used for is to move a new ball to the front of the inline clip of the reactor. The ball is fired by air pressure when you pump it.

Make a thread where people can sign up to order one from you. When you have at least 9 other people who want one order them and then sell them to each person for like 1 dollar more to cover your initial shipping.

#137813 Easiest Ls Integration System

Posted by Uterly on 30 January 2008 - 02:24 PM in Modifications

I did the same thing a month ago but I used the clip from the bottom of the titan. The spring in that is much stronger and it works great. I had to cut off a sliver with a knife but other than that it was simple

#135580 Supplies For Extending Tanks

Posted by Uterly on 10 January 2008 - 10:59 PM in Modifications

Sort of like the last post on This Page

And if that is what you want to do, a titan air tank will not be able to push 16 darts farther than 5 feet

#133895 Nerf Reactor Mods?

Posted by Uterly on 26 December 2007 - 05:18 PM in Modifications

The titan didn't really work since there was so much dead space, but the shell of the reactor is really useful for housing the titan air tank. See this Thread

#129280 When Did This Come Out...

Posted by Uterly on 09 November 2007 - 11:28 PM in General Nerf

From what I hear I would say no but people all the time have proved that theory wrong. I would love to see someone take a leap of faith of that. others have had some stellar results out of something that looked so so...

Yeah... It looks like i said that it has potential but I don't see a possibility for it to fire stefans...

Hierarchy I will just ignore your snotty comment.

Snotty?

Most people here will agree with his post.

#129106 Buzz Bee Power Bow?

Posted by Uterly on 08 November 2007 - 02:41 PM in General Nerf

Um.. I went on buzzbeetoys.com and was looking at big blasts to see how much they were, and just to the right of the bbbb was this thing called a Power Bow. It's red, has some cheesey bow attachment, and one of the crossbow styled cocking mechanisms. I think it's a plunger gun. but it looked about the size of a crossbow, about 2 1/2 feet long and I was wondering if anyone has seen, owned, or modded one of these babies. Hey, this might be the new crossbow.

It looks more like the old nerf bow n' arrow

#129105 Nerf...is It Stress Relieving Too You?

Posted by Uterly on 08 November 2007 - 02:34 PM in General Nerf

I used to think that I liked to mod. Now I have realized that I hate modding halfway through every project. I don't really have the patience anymore to do some of the more complicated mods. When I was doing FA's ls breach mod I threw the gun at the wall a few times, and it was really hard for me to resist smashing it to pieces. The gun works like a charm now, but it really wasn't worth it.

Fuck modding.

Why are you here?

I made a basic air gun but on the end I made a ...

Ten shot shogun attachment from a DTG

My little bro opened his DTG and lost everything except for the turret. So I wrapped it in duct tape, shoved it in a 3 inch PVC coupler with reducers down to my 3/4 inch ball valve attached to my tank It goes 70 feet with a great spread. I plan to use in indoor wars for the most part. The turret is almost a perfect fit, it only needed a little duct tape to make a perfect seal.

#126611 Lanard Blast Bazooka Leaking?

Posted by Uterly on 19 October 2007 - 12:23 AM in Modifications

After 7-8 pumps the tank is filled and the OP valve should kick in. However there should not be air rushing out the barrel. I think the problem is what I described above.

#126580 Lanard Blast Bazooka Leaking?

Posted by Uterly on 18 October 2007 - 08:08 PM in Modifications

On mine, the valve doesn't close all the way everything and I just have to pull the trigger really hard to rest it.
