The plunger consist of a long and skinny metal rod, with a ring of E tape. It is bent around the string to hold it.If you don't care, then why did you post the topic? If those ranges are real, how exactly are you getting the string attached to a PT without uneven advancement, therefore killing the seal? (unrelated: lakewoodz, check your pms. i see you on there.)

The bow is about 3.5 feet tall when strung, the plunger rod is 1.25 feet long. I'm not sure how much PSI the bow holds, although it is pretty strong. To his defence however, some people(bob) have stressed that bow powered blasters can be dangerously powerful, and kane admitted that he can make his Aabow dangerously powerful with slugs. So his ranges still be possible. But looking at the picture, the PT (I think?) looks pretty small.

No, 45 degree angle. Are those ranges flat? If so I'm calling shenanigans, Gentlemen, get your brooms

Why the hell would I lie about ranges? It's a real, hunting bow. 180 feet is the range I'm getting, get over yourself.I'm saying your ranges are completely bullshit. What?Yeah, I bet you I could throw the bow that far.

So what did I do? I took a real life bow, attatched PVC piping, and fabricating a plunger attached to the string. It's insane. Ranges go around 180+ feet. Not lying. In fact, the bow string broke on me, and as soon as I replace it I'll get pictures up. Don't lock this Talio, just wait.
#285216 Stampede Ammo Counter

Wouldn't it be great it we could get an ammo counter into the Stampede?

It does, but not too much, and it's still possible to hold. I find it more effective to hold the gun with both hands at the pistol grip, becasue the center mass of the gun is there.
Maverick,
That would be a great attachment, the only problem would be finding reverse rails.

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but here it is.
First, take your three magazines and place them a little more than one inch apart, and put a one inch block of wood in between them, as shown in the picture. (I used normal clips in this pic, but its the same as extended clips)
Place the blocks where the white and red rectangles are. You may want to double sided tape them in place, but this is optional.
Then wrap tape (I used electrical, because it looks best) around the clip starting from the ridge near the top and traveling about 3-4 inches down. You can also wrap tape between the clips to close everything in. When finished, it should look like this:
When put in the gun, it looks like this:
An easy, yet effective, mod. Questions or comments?
#284971 Mod Guide To The Stampede Ecs

How the gun works:
It's been unknown to many people of how the Stampede works, but it's actually a pretty ingenious design. The plunger is stationary, and already on the catch. When the trigger is suppressed, the bolt assembly and plunger tube move forward, compressing the spring. When the bolt reaches the closed point, the catch releases, causing the plunger to go forward, firing the dart. Another spring pushes the entire assembly back into the default position.
I'll try to get pictures up tommorow if possible.
#284468 Bolt Release
Posted by Floppyjack on 31 August 2010 - 09:12 PM in Modifications
Exactly, if something helps at all, why not do it? It's never been done before either. I could add a torsion spring attached to the bolt and a stationary piece, so just flicking the bolt forward will unlock and load it.Let's be totally honest here; this idea is 100% stupid, unnecessary, and retarded.
I know you're trying to make a superoverkillomfg gun, but you really don't need it. If you seriously have performed an AR removal, spring replacement, and brass breech, then I'd toss this thing in the 'Done' pile. Doing what you're trying to do is pointless, and is inevitably just going to add more bulk.
Trust me on that.
I'll be honest and say that this idea is not a bad one. I also do not like the idea of having to push the bolt back forward when you have your clip in. Nerf is about innovation, not copying whatever everyone else has done. You say that this is pointless, yet you have no good reason. Floppyjack, do what you want to do.

All are already done.I don't know, AR removal, spring replacement, oh and a brass breech sound like good ideas. What else am I supposed to do with a longstrike?

And when I need to reload? No, the trigger makes the plunger go forward, this makes the bolt sled go forward. This might be a dumb question, but isn't that the trigger? If you don't know already, this is a button which throws the bolt forward when pressed.
What's the point of having a release, when you are just gonna release it anyways before you shoot? Nerfdartsmith21 is right, you should just have an extension spring, rubber band or something in there to make the bolt go forward. No need for a release.
