APOC 2016 feelings
Pros
-met Captain Slug,
-got to chill with the south east crew
-rounds were quickly done and moved on to the next
-Had a Place to sit
-Got several double kills that made me almost jizz myself
-Didn't Twist my ankle
-Got a "you only live thrice" Bandanna
-everyone was nearly on Par this year with arsenals, felt a little more balanced.
-every time my crew saw me sitting to long they got me back up for another round
-Someone mentioned out loud that mayo is gross (someone had to say it)
-Drove back with lucian listening to Death Grips and SOAD.
Cons
-Puked in Round 1 (????)
-had to sit out a few rounds,
-dart hit my safety glasses from +100 feet away flat. (always wear eye protection kids)
-Left my pants at the park.
10/10 would puke again

Confirming my attendance. (+2?) If out of state travelers want to book and go in on a room I'm more than open to ideas. I'm bussing in from Springfield which isn't the worse distance but I'd prefer to have a room with buddies for the night and get trashed.
in response to Vnerf, both, we play variety, but NIC is most preferred, Raffle- throw something semi-decent in the pile, get something out via a drawing of names, good way to start a new project when you aren't sure what you want to work on next, as far as letting your pals know we usually have a "more the merrier" rule, we don't usually set age gaps but do note for NIC rounds our cap is 310 fps. so if you don't want to get hit with anything that intense I would suggest for a sit out for those rounds.

just as a disclosure, the scan for the Crossbow is in the midst,
snakerbot, the whole point of it being scanned is so it can be edited, (like extending the stock 2" to allow for longer draw, along with improving grip comfort)
i have sat with drac, and i have sat with lucian (the guy scanning the crossbow), and the plan is to rework the design of the crossbow to bring it up to current NIC standards, he's still looking into materials to print it out of because we all know PLA is not the best choice, as well as he wont be printing on normal printer, they may take it to an industrial scale, but its to be determined.

+had a solid crew of about 10 people that I was seated with.
+the fact that people were excited to see my fat ass (im the guy with the blue tripps pictured above)
+I came to apoc with 2 blasters. And left with like 8. And yet only spent 5$.
+made sexy time with my big bear Griever.
+ got a shit ton of running/walking/sprinting into me.
+led a few charges on carpe.
+sold my BloodyHell 4k to griever. (it has a good home.)
+got everyone to sign my shitploy. To the best that I could. (if you didnt get to sign it. I am truly sorry.I havent met everyone at apoc personally so it just leaves room for next year to improve)
+didnt twist my ankle!

+earned that ball blaster off of chops based on my skill alone.

As far as discussion went on NMW, it seemed someone hacked the server that Nrev and many other websites worked out of. someone posted a screen shot of the page and it had all the things a low level hacker would put, he even wrote on the altered website page that he used an Mp3 codeto hack the server that he stole from someone else. (i have no idea how that would work, but i'm just filling in the blanks from what i know.)

Now for the "Do's and Dont's" (aw man really? yes really, safety is required like at any war)
Do bring blasters! at least 3-4 Primary, and maybe a pistol or two. (depending on your play style!)
Do bring darts,(how much? that is up to you. we always recommend 100-150.)
Do bring eye-wear! (you don't want to see what it looks like, or what it feels like to have someone perform a 360' tailspin off of a trampoline and shoot you with a 4B in the eye, believe me, its not fun.)
Do bring a good attitude! (pretty self explanatory)
Do bring the cash mulah! you never know what kind of things people show up with, so you may want buy some things! and we may just order a pizza, you never know!
Do bring water, it gets fucking hot.
Do bring some sunscreen, we're far to Caucasian to end the day looking like lobsters.
Don't be a sore loser! we are here to have fun! and that's just what we do!
Don't bring darts with exposed metal or that you wouldn't like to get shot by. At N.E.N.O we don't have to many blaster restrictions but be logical and responsible.

War season is almost over, so we at the Northeastern Nerfers decided we didn't have enough wars, so before this year kicks the bucket, we are going to have another annual war October war in the good ol' MA!

When? September 28th 12:00-5:00
Where? 883 Tinkham Road Wilbraham MA 01095 The green arrow indicates the meeting point at the gazebo ,this is also where those with cars will park, war time starts at 12, so show up a little earlier, i will be there at around 11:30, war starts at 12 with or with out you.
Once again the Do's and Don'ts
Do bring Blasters, (we cant stretch this enough)
Do bring darts, (this isn't an entirely big issue, but one person cant supply for everyone.100-150 is good enough)
Do bring eye wear (we not play head hunters, but we don't want to call any ambulances either.)
Do bring some snacks (fruits, water, what ever tickles your fancy really.)
Do bring trade worthy items (don't bring your crap in hopes to pawn it off to someone)
Do bring $Cash monies$ (not everyone is looking to trade, some people do want to sell)
Don't be a sore loser
Don't bring exposed metal darts, at N.E.N.O we don't have to many restrictions, but be think logically please.

N.E.N.O 5! We're Back In The Saddle!
Well, its about that time of year again, the snow has cleared, the sun is shinning, and the New England area is getting further and further in the War scene, so lets kick things off this year the right way, with sweat on our brows and welts on our skin!
let us continue, shall we?
When?:June 29
11am-5:30pm
What?: Northeastern Nerf Outing, a CT Nerf war. (AKA N.E.N.O!)
Where?: Veterans Memorial Park
575 Pleasant Valley Road,
South Windsor, CT
Now for the "Do's and Dont's" (aw man really? yes really, safety is required, but we are also trying to have an amazing time!)
Do bring blasters! at least 3-4 Primary, and maybe a pistol or two. (depending on your play style!)
Do bring darts,(how much? that is up to you. we always recommend 100-150.)
Do bring eye-wear! (you don't want to see what it looks like, or what it feels like to have someone perform a 360' tailspin off of a trampoline and shoot you with a 4B in the eye, believe me, its not fun.)
Do bring a good attitude! (pretty self explanitory)
Do bring the cash mulah! you never know what kind of things people show up with, so you may want buy some things! and we may just order a pizza, you never know!
Don't be a sore loser! we are here to have fun! and that's just what we do!
Don't bring darts with exposed metal or that you wouldn't like to get shot by. At N.E.N.O we don't have to many blaster restrictions but be logical and responsible.

As zx352 may have told you, NENO 4 is in Springfield this Saturday, and if you can get as close as possible ZX will make the effort to get you at the nearest convience, as for people, just limit yourself, 1-2 should be enough if you're bringing any extras, bring your Blasters, darts, etc,
