#246708 Happy Birthday Omc

Posted by PointBlank on 12 August 2009 - 12:15 PM in Off Topic

Happy birthday =P

#244269 Singled Rapidfire 20

Posted by PointBlank on 27 July 2009 - 11:26 PM in Modifications

You should see if you can substitute a better air tank for the "bladder" that the Rf20 has. Thanks for posting this though, I was curious if anyone had ever done this before. Nice to know the result.

#243858 Homemade Pistol With Nite Finder Shell

Posted by PointBlank on 25 July 2009 - 02:53 PM in Homemades

Very nice, I like how it still uses the regular NF catch mech.

#243831 Big Bad Bow Shotgun Style Very Large Pictures

Posted by PointBlank on 25 July 2009 - 11:51 AM in Modifications

It may just be my small screen, but I found this very hard to read, scrolling left to right/up and down. Other than that, it's a great mod. Good luck in the contest!

#243829 Dart Tag Blaster Overhaul

Posted by PointBlank on 25 July 2009 - 11:46 AM in Modifications

I am a little confused, would it be possible for you to post a zoomed out picture so I can see the whole finished product?

#243828 Hinged Double Barrel Pump Action Shotgun

Posted by PointBlank on 25 July 2009 - 11:44 AM in Modifications

Really great mod, it's to bad you missed the mod contest entry window, this would have done very well.

#243827 Sharp Shooter 1 Modification

Posted by PointBlank on 25 July 2009 - 11:41 AM in Modifications

Nice mod, I love the paint job.

#243692 The Wipeout,pistolsplat,supasplat,toytech,ps800-9000 Rscb Delux, I Cal

Posted by PointBlank on 24 July 2009 - 08:02 PM in Modifications

I was wondering what you would churn out for the contest, nice work, the pictures could be a bit better though.

One quick question, seeing as my petg experience is limited, I have to ask, how well would the thin wall petg rscb stand up to impact? I am guessing you would have to be a bit careful transporting it.

#243691 Splitfinder 2000

Posted by PointBlank on 24 July 2009 - 07:59 PM in Modifications

Great work, I love the cleanliness of the internals, but the front pumping/loading mech could be allot cleaner. (less electrical tape etc.) Good luck in the contest!

#243552 Maverick Double, Triple Barrel.

Posted by PointBlank on 24 July 2009 - 11:46 AM in Modifications

Pure genius. That's all I can say.

#241551 Flood Light Mod, A Jumping Nacho Production

Posted by PointBlank on 11 July 2009 - 10:13 PM in Modifications

It takes 3 easy steps, but it is quite usefully.

Usefully? No way! I need to go check my dictionary to see if any other words have changed... Ok maybe that was a bit harsh.
Anyway, good concept, needs more pictures.

#241536 Titan/magstrike Integration

Posted by PointBlank on 11 July 2009 - 08:56 PM in Modifications

Trying to comprehend this whole thing is making my brain hurt... Good work none the less. Seriously, good work.

#241534 N-strike Clipped Pas

Posted by PointBlank on 11 July 2009 - 08:50 PM in Modifications

I am utterly speechless... this mod is incredible.

#241531 Power Stocked Eliminator.

Posted by PointBlank on 11 July 2009 - 08:44 PM in Modifications

Spectacular work, I especially love the sparkly hot glue. =P

#241529 Ironman Blaster Tank

Posted by PointBlank on 11 July 2009 - 08:41 PM in Modifications

Very nice work, I wonder if you could make it more usable by slapping on a handle/trigger mechanism. As it is, it's not exactly war ready...

#235118 New Logo And Favicon

Posted by PointBlank on 08 June 2009 - 10:06 PM in Site Feedback

I actually really like the new logo, it is very easy on the eyes. Very modern.

#235116 Tech Target Brass Breach

Posted by PointBlank on 08 June 2009 - 10:00 PM in Modifications

I am a big fan of breaches that do not destroy the over all appearance of the gun. Nice work!

#234123 Full Crossbow Modification

Posted by PointBlank on 03 June 2009 - 01:11 PM in Modifications

That thing is beautiful, great work!

#233850 Pullback Shotty

Posted by PointBlank on 01 June 2009 - 08:25 PM in Modifications

Although it does defeat the purpose of buying a pump action shotgun, This is still a very clean mod and props are definitely due. Good job.

#233847 Yalpam (yet Another Longshot Pump Action Mod)

Posted by PointBlank on 01 June 2009 - 08:20 PM in Modifications

*slaps self in face* I can not believe nobody has thought of this before. Truly excellent work.

#233846 Number Flash Cards

Posted by PointBlank on 01 June 2009 - 08:17 PM in Nerf Wars

So simple, yet so creative! This will definitely be a part of any wars I hold in the future. Thanks for the idea.

#232488 Nerf Grenade, Pretty Sure This Is An Original Idea

Posted by PointBlank on 25 May 2009 - 04:22 PM in Homemades

Would it be at al possible for you to post a video of this in action? I am a bit confused...

#232302 Vulcan Range Test

Posted by PointBlank on 24 May 2009 - 07:13 PM in General Nerf

Ah yes, the sweet smell of statistical goodness.. Good job.

#232301 Standard Range Test

Posted by PointBlank on 24 May 2009 - 07:08 PM in General Nerf

I often use this exact method of range testing, but I really do not see the point of having a second 'spotter' write down all the ranges... This is something that can be easily done by the person who is firing the gun. It just seems a bit too meticulous to include if the rules are set in stone.

However, I like what you are trying to accomplish here, there are far too many people out there who think they are the gods of modification just because their scout can shoot 60' at a 45 degree angle, with just removed air restrictors. If this does become a policy, I think that its best use is for sale threads. Say a guy is selling his recon that supposedly shoots 100', he will need to clarify that he is using the regulated measuring method.

#231987 An Open Letter To New Posters And Anyone On The Waiting List!

Posted by PointBlank on 22 May 2009 - 10:13 PM in General Nerf

I agree entirely with you on this one, and I am glad that someone finally said it. I've actually been poking around the other nerf forums, people there rant about how all the mods here are too strict. To the contrary, I think the mods here are actually very patient. I truly appreciate all that the mods do here, I highly doubt that I would have the patience to do their job.

#231883 Crayola Barrel Making - Full Write Up

Posted by PointBlank on 22 May 2009 - 03:48 PM in Modifications

I use a 1/2" drill bit to take off the little nubs, it leaves them perfectly smooth. Anyways, nice write up.

#231714 Will This Work?

Posted by PointBlank on 21 May 2009 - 03:35 PM in Modifications

If you or some one could show me where it's been done before, that would be helpful! I don't wanna screw up again. :)

Here, and this one is not exactly the same, but has the same concept.

#231711 Extremely New To Nerf!

Posted by PointBlank on 21 May 2009 - 03:30 PM in General Nerf

Welcome to the Haven. I hope your stay is lengthy.

#231654 My Bolt Mechanism Design

Posted by PointBlank on 21 May 2009 - 07:09 AM in Homemades

It looks like there will be a whole bunch of dead space. I think that there needs to be less space between the air "inlet" and the dart. Good concept though.

#231653 Cuttin' Longshots

Posted by PointBlank on 21 May 2009 - 06:57 AM in General Nerf

I usually just use a hacksaw for cutting jobs, but they get seriously annoying around curves. As slug said, buy a jigsaw. Good luck with the commission!

#231405 Hinged Double Barrel Pump Action Shotgun

Posted by PointBlank on 19 May 2009 - 09:22 PM in Modifications

Great job on this one, it ads a bit of realism that wasn't there before.

#231312 The Rogue "sereph"

Posted by PointBlank on 19 May 2009 - 04:19 PM in Modifications

I have always loved seeing new breech mechanisms, and I have honestly never thought about mounting a rail where you did. Also, I really enjoy what you do with your spare longshot parts (scopes etc.) As for the contest, good luck and may the best man win!

#230807 Minimized 4b

Posted by PointBlank on 17 May 2009 - 02:39 PM in Modifications

I am not sure if you can even called that minimized, it's so small. Good work getting it all to function properly. It would be nice to see if you could create some sort of housing for it. Oh, and nice Alienware.

#230369 "the Blood Finder"

Posted by PointBlank on 15 May 2009 - 11:32 AM in Modifications

It looks really nice. I like the paint job and the pump placement looks handy.

#230030 Lbb (lanard Blast Bazooka) Modification Write Up Video Added

Posted by PointBlank on 13 May 2009 - 04:31 PM in Modifications

Great write up! Thank you for your contribution to the NIC, this will really help allot of people

#229990 Mag Bladder Casing

Posted by PointBlank on 13 May 2009 - 01:16 PM in Modifications

I think it would make your life a bit easier to just keep the casing, taking it off just ads more work. If you do take it off, then I suggest using a very strong glue.

#229921 Possibly The Best Stefan Ever Made

Posted by PointBlank on 12 May 2009 - 09:18 PM in Homemades

I think that we have all clarified that this is a BAD IDEA. However, I do have a couple questions. Did you cut the tip off the streamline before sticking the pencil in? Also, did you put the pencil facing pointy-end out?

#229871 The Coupler Frag Grenade

Posted by PointBlank on 12 May 2009 - 07:08 PM in Homemades

That is an awesome idea! Also, very well executed. Would it be at all possible to put up a video demonstration? That would be great.

#229798 Is This Just Happening To Me?

Posted by PointBlank on 12 May 2009 - 12:41 PM in Modifications

A pic would be nice, I am having a hard time following.
