Not really, it helps a little, but if the o - ring is too big, it will have trouble moving down the plunger tube. I recommend keeping the original o -ring, but put some e-tape under it but not too much.CrakerJack: Does it make a difference when you lube it?

Sounds like a wrestling move rather than a menu item.
What kind of wrestling do you watch?

What size cpvc would you recommend? What's the difference? I know that standard and schedule 40 pvc is plain white, or slightly off white.
1/2 inch CPVC. This is what I use for my nitefinders since I don't have any PETG. I use the same foam as you as well. The caulksaver foam in 1/2 inch CPVC is perfect. It is really tight in the barrel and gives me excellent ranges. I just CPVC'd a nitefinder a few days ago. I added an O-Ring and have only the original spring in it. I am getting 52 - 58ft. flat.

#230406 New Stefans
Posted by CrackerJak on 15 May 2009 - 03:41 PM in Homemades
I wanted to make some stefans but I couldn't get any BBs. However I did have some steel washers like the ones used for Captain Slug's stefans but no felt discs. So, I invented a new stefan where you hotglue the washer to one end of the stefan and then put a dome of hot glue over it for safety. Make sure that the hot glue doesn't drip over the ends or it will be a pain in the you-know-where to load your darts.
You did not invent these. People have been making these for a long time. They are all over youtube.

Yes, it has a large impact on the performance, use silicon lube or something else suggested in the Plastic Safe Lubricants Thread.No. does that really change the overall performance? If this is a stupid question, I'm sorry. I'm pretty new to modding and this is my first big mod.Did you lube it?
Thanks.

There isn't really anything to show. I do have the o-ring in.

How did you mod it, doing what to it?
I completely took out the air restrictor, but I left the dart tooth, I reinforced the catch, added a nf spring, and integrated the front gun to it. that's about it.

Works really great, but hard to prime. Probably, because I added a nitefinder spring to it.
