#358218 What to do with my longstrike?

Posted by Stinkbomb3000 on 26 February 2017 - 02:57 AM in Modifications

I have a longstrike and I decided to install the omw immortal kit into it, and now it works great. The kit is a little expensive, but if you have the money and really like the longstrike, then you should get it.

#357833 Longstrike OMW immortal kit priming help

Posted by Stinkbomb3000 on 04 February 2017 - 11:30 PM in Modifications

Thanks for warning me. I am planing on taking it apart again to paint it, so I don't think i will do that. Thanks anyways! I was thinking of just getting a metal rod and screwing on some nuts. And if I wanted, I could solder them together.

What you can do is put hot glue in the female side of the priming rod and push the two parts of the bar together, and both the 5kg spring and 7kg spring need two hands to prime. I would know, I have a 5kg Immortal kit installed (And got my hand jammed inside the damn thing while installing it). As for pump grips, well, I don't know, in all honesty.

Thanks for helping. I will be sure to try what you suggested. Thanks!

#357810 Longstrike OMW immortal kit priming help

Posted by Stinkbomb3000 on 03 February 2017 - 10:05 PM in Modifications

I have recently installed a OMW immotal kit into my longstrike with a 7kg spring. It works very well exept for the fact that i have to prime with two hands. It also doesn't help that my priming handle keeps falling out. I know how to fix that, but thats not what i am here to talk about. I have seen pump-grip mods for the longshot, but none for the longstrike. So I am asking:

A.if it would be possibe to make a pump-grip mod for the longstrike and how.

B.If it would actually help me not put pressure on the internals like one-hand priming does.

Thanks

2 questions:

What kind of darts do you allow.

Is there an age limit if I wanted to bring some other people with me.

I personally would be very interested in a gun with password protection. I think its a great idea, even if it is all that practical.

So i have 5-6 friends that we get together and have a mini Nerf war with each other. We have access to this medium sized basketball quart that we usually play on. We set up chairs and sometimes bring portable tables to use as cover. Mostly we just do an easy game of shooting each other and I was just wondering if there were any other types of games that would be fun and possible to play.  Thanks.

#356754 Strongest spring a stock longshot can handle

Posted by Stinkbomb3000 on 18 November 2016 - 05:25 AM in Modifications

I was reading a couple of posts about how the 14kg spring is the best spring for a longshot and that people just throw it in and are good. I've also read posts where people say you cant use a 14kg spring without heavily reinforcing the shell. I am just wondering the strongest spring a stock longshot can handle before the shell or the internals get damaged.

#356752 Help finding a new/improved longstrike priming handle

I still think I am going to create my own. It is probly cheaper and I won't have to pay for shipping, even if it might not be as strong.

I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion.

#356732 Help finding a new/improved longstrike priming handle

Posted by Stinkbomb3000 on 15 November 2016 - 07:26 PM in Modifications

I have a longstrike that is just laying around at my house, because, even though it looks really cool, it is just really bad in stock form. I have a OMW Immortal kit that I am planning on putting into my longstrike, but my priming handle is really loose. It falls off all the time and I don't know if it is strong enough to handle a 7kg spring. Is there any place where I could buy a new and better priming handle/bar? I have seen the Xplorer handles, but both are not sold any more. Thanks!

Yah, sorry. I was under the impression that those darts on wish are only $1 for 100, when they really weren't. Thanks for telling me about USCs.

Oh, yeah, I've run in to this before.  There are different quantities on the same listing.  The $1 option is for ten darts, but fifty are $3, and one hundred are $4.  Still a great deal, but not quite as low as it looks.  Wish is sucky like that.  They will show all of the color options, for instance, in a clothing of luggage listing, but only the ugly one will be the really cheap price.

Thanks for warning me, I was about to buy a bunch. This will save me some money and time. Thanks!

I was looking around for knockoff darts and came across these. I haven't been able to test them yet, but I just wanted to share them. They are unbelievably cheap, at 100/$1! There is a 1 dollar shipping fee, but still, 2 dollars for 100 darts is one of the best deals I've seen in a while. Shipping is long because it probably ships from China, so it takes a little over a month to arrive. From the pictures, you can see that the darts are packaged in groups of 10 and the darts have holes in the tips. I don't know if the darts are any good, but at this price, you should get them anyway.

Here's a link to the site you can get them from: https://www.wish.com...e94711346126411

P.S. By the way, this is my first post, so sorry if it is bad.
