You need to reinforce the back piece in the shell that supports the plunger tube. This is because even with the metal backplate, pressure is still being put on that back piece. Same goes for the front one in front of the plunger tube. You can epoxy metal or polycarbonate sheets to cover these spots. A 26kg spring is super strong, and will vibrate the stock shell. Buy an after market one (xzues), or put FBR on the inside of the shell. I'd highly recommend the xzues 2 shell, as it's pump action, and designed to take lots of pressure and stress from high spring loads.

I'll try to make the stock longshot shell work, but if not I'll buy a xzeus. It's minimized, and it's going to be pull back, so I would probably just sell the pump grip.

Sorry, I only meant plunger. Are there certain areas of weekness I should focus on? Also, I have seen people put foam in crossbows, what about that?

So, I am working on a longshot that shoots different types of ammo, including a 3 dart shotgun, megas, single elite, rival 1-3 etc. It will be running on 26 kg. I'm having a custom made metal plunger rod that functions as a pull back, akin nightfinder. The backplate is metal, the catch is metal, pretty much everything is metal except a stock plunger rod and a stock shell. I have heard at that high of a spring load it can warp or break the plastic. Is there any way to prevent this?

I started to learn to program in javascript a while ago, I still don't know crud about it though. I also do very basic 3D printing, but since I don't have a printer, and the nearest one is 2 hours away I don't get to pursue that hobby very frequently. And I'm a kid so there is no way I can afford to buy one ANY time soon.

I am working on modding a crossbolt, and it won't catch. When it does work it hits like a truck, but it won't catch most of the time. Is there a spring that would work as a stronger catch spring?

Yes. The Nerf War schedule has a list of wars organized by states.Ohio Hell Before Halloween is happening in two in a half weeks, hosted by Buffdaddy. There are also a number of nerfers in central Indiana. Indianerfolis 2016 was in July; I'm not sure of any wars happening there until 2017.

There are several game types that lend themselves well to stock blasters. He's more than welcome to use stock - the ranges and rate of fire are far better now than they were even a few years ago.
I will have several loaner blasters as well, and will use a few stock blasters myself during the day.

Well, I'm going to try to put a battery pack on the side of the stock and the titan tank would shoot 4 mega darts with cpvc barrels on the side of the blaster. I hope it works, but nothing is for sure with anything. I am going to use some type of tubing to connect to the cpvc barrels and the titan tank.

I was going to buy an air powered supersoaker this week to mod so it shoots elite darts, but this would be my first time doing something like this, so I don't know what supersoaker I should get or how to do it. Any advice is appreciated.
