Are you using the same darts every time? Because if you are, the darts may be very worn on the bottom and cannot depress the smart ar system. Try using newer darts.

I think you mean air restrictor. Plunger blasters don't have an ORPV, but air powered blasters (ones with an air tank) do.

It also might be because your catch spring is too weak. Try replacing it.

Well like he said, they aren't the same barrels. So I think that the only probelm is dart wear, not the actual foam pad that helps the blaster seal. You should try using newer darts, and see if the blaster actually functions better.

You would buy koosh darts here. There isn't really a better color, it all depends on preference.

Well in bobololo's collection video, he said that its really useless, but the purple shell is pretty rare. People haven't seen these in a purple shell. Note that I am saying this according to his video.

The only mods I really did was plugging the pump and cutting off the front end, where the lines stop. The cut didn't disrupt the air tank though. I cut far enough so that the dart peg was removed, but not too far to interfere with the tank.


EDIT: The air leaking out of the firing pin is A LOT. It isn't just like a small pop, it seems like half of the air capacity is going out of the firing pin area.

I was modding a range master, and i noticed that when I push the firing pin when the blaster was pumped, air would leak out of the firing pin area. I was wondering if my blaster is a defective model, or if this happens to everyone.

Also, when I put a barrel onto the blaster and fire it, I only get a very silent pop and the dart goes about 5 feet. Before modding it, the blaster would actually get further ranges than the modded version, which was about 40 feet or so. If anyone could help, it'll be great. Thanks for reading.

You could just put the magstrike internals into an existing shell and single it. I'm not too sure how good a magstrike tank is though.

I think that the padding of the plunger head may help, and it would also prolong the life of the plunger and plunger head.

I think that most ball pumps do have a check valve. But, there are quite a few guides to make one, like this.

Is it not pumping? Or is it randomly leaking air somehow? Because if it wasn't pumping, your o-ring may be messed up.

Silicone darts can be very easy to make, and the molds are very affordable. I don't see why people would want to pay someone money to make darts that are already easy to make.

Just search the thickness of a rubber washer and buy the neoprene sheet of that thickness. Also, i don't think you can get a very good seal if you don't cut the sheet in a perfect circle.

The new seal may be too big for the plunger tube. You might want to either lessen the width of the new seal (if possible) or just grease it.
