#347378 No one cares about the name you gave your gun

Posted by 2TAGS on 23 June 2015 - 06:10 AM in Off Topic

The unnecessary blaster naming is what keeps me from even bothering to post. The first time I saw "masterkey" on this site;I literally laughed out loud . I was thinking are you serious people? And I don't think it deserves 2 cents of thought to argure about everyones acronymmed war name .

#344162 Info on these ranson motors?

Posted by 2TAGS on 11 January 2015 - 04:36 PM in Modifications

If you put this motor on your pusher no amount of trigger discipline will allow you to fire one dart at a time. Not to mention it will completely override the fire control switch causing runaway firing. That said, these motors look pretty cool. They appear to be brushless 130s which to my knowledge is a pretty novel design. I'd say try them on your flywheels and report back.

These are :brushed: motors

#341577 Shot in the Arm Challenge

Posted by 2TAGS on 27 August 2014 - 09:18 AM in Off Topic

This is extremely offesive. You clearly do not understand the ice bucket challenge. My company is a corporate sponsor for the ALS foundation. Not only we fulfill their mobilty needs we raise money for the cause year round... the whole point of the ice bucket is for that brief moment , too feel what an als patient feels daily. But if doing the challenge you also need to donate to the cause and not just look for a "look at me on social media"

Beavers correct , donate and make a difference

#341418 Demolisher Help

Posted by 2TAGS on 21 August 2014 - 12:38 PM in Modifications

So I was attempting to use my demolisher today, and the dart pushet would work and everything, but the little black thingy in front of the flywheels is kind of stoppibg the dart. Would it be safe to remove it? If not, what are some other solutions?

Yes it can be removed. This one of the first things I do on flywheel blasters.

#341223 Do you still use Nerf brand toys?

Posted by 2TAGS on 15 August 2014 - 11:52 AM in Site Feedback

I only use nerf branded blasters in the office. Im too old to compete in NIC events personally(as in no longer in shape to keep up with younger crowd)

Posted by 2TAGS on 02 August 2014 - 02:03 PM in General Nerf

All this speculation and discussion can be ended if this question is answered.

#334073 Larami SuperMaxx Ball Shooter

Posted by 2TAGS on 16 September 2013 - 07:49 PM in General Nerf

I believe the last time one popped up on here a while ago the price started at 65$ US and escalated rather quickly from there (if I'm thinking of the right sale, it cleared over 200 to a gentleman in Australia). The blaster in question was the version with interchangeable barrels, if I recall. Nisaburo is correct, though. It is a very hard to find blaster that the right person would gladly pay through their respective arse for.

Im assuming the one you mentioned was the one I sold to a friendly australian member . However mine was a supermaxx system 2000 and looked nothing like what duke has.

#332297 NerfHaven / Apoc Official Team Bandannas

Posted by 2TAGS on 25 July 2013 - 06:49 AM in Site Feedback

According to Wiktionary, "tacky" can mean:
Of a substance, slightly sticky.
(colloquial) Of low quality.
(colloquial) In poor taste.
gaudy, flashy, showy, garish
dowdy, shabbily dressed
shabby, dowdy (in one's appearance)

Which all sounds like a pretty good description of good, old fashioned nerf gun modification, featuring brightly colored plastic toys held together with nothing but etape, hot glue, and a prayer (Edit: and possibly a dildo).

Also kinda sounds like sex, which is good, too.

In short, put me down for two with the tacky four letter word on them. I'll get them at APOC.

All valid points :)
However if I make the trip to go . Thats not something i would want my kids associating the hobby with

I like the APOC 2013 ones. Main reason the Fuck Off can put some people off.

Agree the whole "fuck off" is tacky as all can get .

#331008 New Releases Mod Contest Poll

Posted by 2TAGS on 18 June 2013 - 12:14 PM in Modifications

People no one is forcing anyone to vote .
All mods are mods whether its cosmetic, or performance.

Underbarrel blaster attachments are pointless to me , however may be useful to another

Edit ... That is not only modded diatron to date . I posted mine months back in the mods/p.j. Thread. Just saying

#330657 Messed up Longshot

Posted by 2TAGS on 08 June 2013 - 08:49 AM in Modifications

Hi i recently got a longshot and due to little knowledge of LS internals i damaged the rim and part of the larger tube for the disassembled and reassembled smaller tube to fit.... , I don't have a camera but hopefully you should know what i mean, It will only fire about 10 feet (hek its second hand and only fired about 20 when i got it) this may sound stupid but is the damaged larger tube messing up the seal and thats why it doesn't shoot properly?

You are correct. It is getting a horrbile seal and the air is escaping everywhere else but where it needs too.

#330518 18-Round Dart Clip

Posted by 2TAGS on 03 June 2013 - 12:01 PM in General Nerf

I wish they made these things maybe 1/4" longer. The 18th dart is much harder to get in than the 12th dart is on the 12-round clips, and I'm worried even just the act of inserting that last dart is deforming and reducing its longevity.

I trimmed some if the internal spring on my sons. But not very much

#330286 Strongarm Dart Problem

Posted by 2TAGS on 27 May 2013 - 01:53 PM in Darts and Barrels

I disagree. The foam can "crack" its more of a split. It happens when my kids play indoors. Repeated shots to an inanimate object, the foam will compress and split pretty easily with the elite darts at close range

If the foam is cracked or split your range will go to shit regarless of how long the stress fracture is
