#185215 750 Pumps.

Posted by PC III on 23 October 2008 - 09:55 PM in General Nerf

Ok, News and a tip. The stock pump is crap, lubed it 5 times and it still managed to get dry, and thats not to mention that the orange handle came off, or the screech (after 2 pumps it made a sound similar to a kindergardener getting the wrong gift on X holiday). Nor could it hold any pressure. Luckily a trusty 2k pump fits like a glove. I solved all the above problems, not to mention it worked dry. I highly recommend trying this even if your 750 is working.
So now with 3 pumps Im pushing 100' instead of hoping for 40' with 20.

I use a long range pistol for "losing"(<-- AH! The S word!) people, and my LiLs (lil-ls) for closer in, but becuase I play in my house, and I have a HUGE stash of guns in my room...

#185185 750 Pumps.

Posted by PC III on 23 October 2008 - 07:57 PM in General Nerf

It depends on your SM750. I pumped my first one about 8-10 times and it felt just fine. Anything more than 6 on my current one and it feels like it's gonna explode.

OK. I think my pump needs lube, its been sitting in a shoe closet for years and I just found it. HAZAH! On topic it shoots pretty low too, and has the same range anywhere from 10-30 (yes 30) pumps. So defiantly not normal.

edit: The pt was bone dry. lubed it ands its fine.

#185180 750 Pumps.

Posted by PC III on 23 October 2008 - 07:50 PM in General Nerf

5 I believe. I used to give mine that before it exploded. Just Kidding. I sold it to MSDFS.
I WOULD NOT DO MORE THAN 6! But hell, my friend gives his at2k 8 and its fine...

Really? My ovpv goes off at 6...

The title is pretty self explanatory. How many pumps is safe for a pump pluged 750?

#182117 No...really...this Is A Nerf Grenade

Posted by PC III on 06 October 2008 - 11:30 PM in General Nerf

Ok, I got 2, and they SUCK! 3 foot "blast range" if you can even call it that. IT needs to land PERFECTLY straight to do any damage, and trust me accomplishing this is no small feat. It is WAY more effective just to hit them with it. end of rant.
How do you open them? They ore in need of SERIOUS help.

I also have Dysgraphia and it in no way affects my ability to type coherently. You may have another condition that affects this but Dysgraphia is NOT it. On paper I have some issues. My handwriting is miserable and I write things multiple times without realizing it. But when typing everything is completely fine. Please do not use a medical condition as an excuse to slack off.

Dysgraphia also does not affect punctuation. Please I beg you, dont feed off of your disability. I have to check what I type to make sure I didnt fuck up anywhere and I am asking you to do the same.

It hurts my brain to read bad writing.

And on topic, yeah these threads suck. I am not trying to flame you but I reccomend that you take some time off and just watch for a little bit without posting and see if you can get the hang of how things run around here.

Edited for spelling

Amen.
I do to and do you see me whining about it?

Darn, ah well. I can fit a water bottle in one, but not a large mug. Well post the internals with a size reference to say, a mav.

P.C.III: It's fired with a key ring in the back, not the most comfortable but it works. Also, the pump of the 750 snapped off, and I'm kind of happy it did. I repalced the pump with a 2k pump and put it under my Crossbow barrel like bpso did with his xbow. I'll get a pic up in a bit of the gun soon.

OK, i get it. I mounted a SMG on the bottom of my xbow once too, but I would recommend a smdtg.

#171937 What New Gun Should I Get?

Posted by PC III on 23 August 2008 - 11:10 PM in General Nerf

Invest in making stephens. Assuming you have hot glue... 10$ for weights, 40$ in allot of foam. More useful than a blaster because of your balanced arsenal.

Long Range? check, BBB, and BBBB.
Mid Range? check, LS, RC, TITAN.
Full Auto? check, MS, TM 20.
Sidearm? check, MAVs, NFs.

#171931 Blaster Identification Tool

Posted by PC III on 23 August 2008 - 11:01 PM in General Nerf

What power source is the pen-blaster under? Because it doesn't use air to push the dart, but a physical push by a spring.

Posted by PC III on 23 August 2008 - 10:52 PM in Modifications

Nice work. I've been planning on something similar for the ERTL pump action shotgun.

How is the 750 fired? You could also move the 750 pump to the side to help your line of site.

#171925 Moding My Crossbow

Posted by PC III on 23 August 2008 - 10:42 PM in Modifications

1. No, thats like putting dubs on a classic car, it looks cool sometimes, but most of the time you look gay-tarded.
2. If you cut the threads ( you don't want to deal with threads) on them it becomes a decent barrel material, assuming your darts fit, otherwise just use normal PVC, its cheaper.
3. Vinyl Dye found at automotive supply stores usually.

Interesting that you'd think I'd be cheapening out my crossbow by adding a laser sight. (I would think that since it's modded range and style puts it in the field of a loser rifle) Then in the next comment say to use normal PVC since it's cheaper. I went with gray pvc initially since if I paint it and it scratches, then it won't look so bad or obvious as white pvc.

Also can you really dye a crossbow? I mean even if I do find a pot big enough to put it in, it's deep purple. It's no nylon plastic that readily accepts dyeing. Besides I think the flat metal paints look better.

Vinyl Dye is spray on, like spray paint, and it wont scratch off.

#171640 Disc-shot 2k

Posted by PC III on 22 August 2008 - 07:23 PM in Modifications

When the A2k Is already in pistol form with 4X shots I'm curious why you went this route.

Because its AWSOME. But singleing yields better ranges.

QUOTE(Lynx @ Aug 17 2008, 11:29 PM)

If you are buying a basic arsenal, get these guns (I gave multiple options).

NiteFinders: Powerful spring pistols (40+ feet) that are $6 a piece.

AirTech2000: Powerful (90+ft.) air pistols/primaries/integration material (turret and the singled gun). You can get them at Kohl's for $12.

AirTech3000: Powerful air primaries that have 6 shots, get 70+ feet, and are $30 for 2.

Big Blast: Incredibly powerful air primaries (100+ft). $8 at KMart or more at Toys d We (TRU).

I find your lack of springers disturbing. tongue.gif
Wile his thread is open, I believe the ttg spring is smaller than a nf or ds, and cannot fit a mav spring inside it.

It's acually quite simple. It'll take all of 15 or 20 minutes. Maybe. Pictures will really help though. And when you take a picture of the small part, make sure to use the Macro feature on your digital camera.

Step 1
Take picture

Step 2
Download picture

Step 3
Resize picture (optional)

Step 4
Download picture to Photobucket (make account)

step 5

Step 6
Copy and paste picture from the text box with the "For message boards" to the right of the picture

Step 7
Paste IMG code to your post and your done.

I would avoid black, it REALLY contrasts with the orange.
