Hey Link, not flaming you, but you know that you posted in a dead topic, right? I'm just saying, unless you have someting significant to add, don't post, and FYI, even OMC was a nOOb at one point(no offense to him), we all start off somewhere. So if we don't scream & flame every nOOb screwup, there will be less pointless blathering, and instead of spamming the s*** out of every lame topic with flames, just have a moderator send them a PM saying not to post stuff like that instead of banishing them to the Nerf Hell that is NHQ. Less flames=less crap for mods to delete, and a mod that doesn't have to delete pointless blathering is a happy moderator. With happy moderators comes... well, happy members of the NIC.

On topic: Link, did you have trouble with recombining the bolt parts? You could have ripped the AR cover's holding tabs with pliers, but that is hard to do without needle-nose pliers. Oh, and Link:

Every guide for AR removal suggests drilling or sawing and stuff like that. I lacked any of these tools when I modded my LS, so I went around the AR and simply cut the glue. After you do this, both parts to the AR simply fall out.

This was my first post, so feel free to call me out on anything I did wrong.

That's exactly what this mod accomplishes, except with different tools.

Nice job, hope you don't run into trouble for your longshot!

so the 1/2 inch is where the dart goes into and how close to petg does it fit because it fits may dart perfectly i want to try this thanks in advance

Actually it goes into the 19/32", which is pretty much the new bolt. The 1/2" brass stops the dart from being sucked into the plunger, mainly. Thats how I've always seen it, correct me if I'm wrong, Angel.

For your SS2 are you looking for range, accuracy, or mobility?

With an 8" barrel, you could still get great range, but the most I'd use for a SS2 is 15 inches of a slightly loose barrel.

In my experience with SS2's, I'd say around 14 inches for the best. But since its a sidearm size, I'd use 8-9 inches for a barrel.

The max I'd do, is probably 12. It may be different for yours, but I used 10ish pumps mostly.

I played Gears 2 at a LAN party on Saturday. 9 hours of gaming, 11 PM to 7 AM (not all were gaming).

Played single player for an hour. Then I played co-op for 4 hours straight.

I'm a changed man. Its like getting out of Port Authority for the first time, and walking dazed into the city, except in a small room.

All I can say is, I love it, and can't wait till Gears 3.

Edit: After reading Nerfnut had 2 Red Bulls, I think I crashed cuz I had 4 Bawls.

Singled, yes you can get 100, mine does easily. Turreted? No, you're insane. You are lucky if you get 70 for a turreted at3k

Your smoking something.

I've modded a at3k, sm3k, and all that shit. With multiple barrels on each (probably around 13 different setups on each) I've NEVER got anywhere NEAR 80 feet. Probably more around 70 feet.

So, you must be nerfing in space.

Also, make sure your measuring with feet, and not meters.

If I hear ONE more time, someone gets 100 feet from ##3k, I will beat a baby with a broken crossbow.

You probably screwed it too far. When you screw it in fully, the "barrel" will get locked onto the tank. I haven't found any ways of removing it, though...

You have silicon spray, right? The lube commonly used for plungers?

Well, if you do, theres a somewhat easy fix.

I just did a quick burst (a secound) of it into the airtank, and then pumped it 5 times, or 4, whenever the valve closes.

I let it sit for around 3 hours, and than pulled the trigger. After that, I tested it a few times, and tried again.
