Hey guys, I've been at school so now I will answer some questions. First off, the bb wieghs .2 grams. I used one of my airsoft bb's for my auto tracer. These babies cost like 15 bucks just for 600 of them. But, you can get them cheaper if you but the .12g bb's which are 10 dollars for 2,500. I'm not so sure if they will glow as well because i have not used .12 before. I will try to get an mpeg up for you guys soon. The dart is a success! I placed one of my .20g airsoft bb's in a micro stefan and charged her up. Here are some pics. I had to put them on geocities becuase they weren't appearing in the post itself for some reason. Just copy and paste the links in. Have you guys ever tried to put in glow in the dark airsoft bb's instead of fishing wieghts when making stefan darts? Or regular airsoft bb's for that matter. I just thought that if you put a glow in the dark bb in place of the wieght, you might be able to have some nice night battles. I'm gonna make one tonight and see if you can see it glow through the hot glue. Just wanted to know if it's been done before.

I see your point cxwq. I guess I was just considering my needs. The new slim design was a good move and if 4 gigs is all you need, I guess it is pretty nice getting the newest model and saving 50 dolla.

I think they look ugly, especially the edges of it. None of the colors are appealing either. And to top it off, it's only 4 gigs and it costs $250?! I don't see any reason to get it if you could just spring an extra $50 and get a 15 gigger.

Well, I ask for nerf mods myself mainly because I don't want to screw up a nerf gun. If I have an old or expensive gun that i treasure, I wouldn't want to experiment on it and screw it up. Guns cost money you know. I have done my own experimenting and have had some success but I have also had some failures. When I ask for a mod, I'm asking for something that has been done and something that can be done with helpful pictures and intructions. Inventing your own stuff is sweet, I'll give you that, but asking for a well known mod isn't a crime.

The backer rod is also known as Cualk Saver. The backer rod is put in cracks, where the cualk goes, and then cualk is put over it. So this way you do not waste a bunch of cualk in deep cracks but rather layer it ontop of the backer rod. Anyway, if you ask them for cualk saver, they might know what you are talking about.

I know of Foakley's, I got some down at Rockypoint. They also had a bunch of PS2 games but they were $10. $2 is the best i've ever heard of.

I prefer airsoft. After I read Talio's comments about it, I agree and disagree. Yes airsoft can be a painfull sport, can potentially get you arrested, and isn't fun. But condiseder this: If you like it a lot, you most likey would get some sort of vest or protection for your chest and possibly your arms. Plus when you have heavy pants on, you will have just enough protection. You head is covered with a heavy duty mask and helmet. You're set. You getting cuffed was probably because the forrest you were playing in was either to close to other houses or maybe some bb's were hitting homes or something. In well organized wars, you plan your playing field according to the space you have to play and if you will interfere with any other people while playing. And if you are in a league, it's even more organized. You have airsoft fields that are specialized for airsoft. And, if you play in a league, the people you play against are more responsible and you know they won't go out of the way to hurt you. I understand you're feelings towards airsoft because of what happened to you but consider everything I just said: with the proper protection, planning, trustworthy friends/opponents, airsoft can be a real hoot. And the reason i prefer airsoft over nerf is because i think that it involves more strategy and sneaking around. Don't get me wrong, modding nerf guns can be loads of fun.

O snap. I just went to the dollar store yesterday to see if they had some last minute bling bling for my tree and I saw one of those guns. Actually, i saw about 5 of them. I was gonna pick one up but i thought it would just be a waste. The cheap plastic of the gun could be painted or wrapped in tape just to add some wieght to it, and a whole new spring could be added. Hmmmmmmmmmm.... Well, I'll see what you come up with Jangadance, I hope it turns out to have some potential. Good coparison with the LnL.

I just got Rainbow during the big Thanksgiving sales and I think it's pretty sweet compared to the old online game I was playing (Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon:Island Thunder) But I have not played Socom 2 yet. Has anyone played both of these online shooters? What game do you think is better?

Right now, I just have a crayola barrel accompanied with a 12 inch piece of brass tubing in my SSII. I also took out the restricter. Minis are the only darts that fit in my barrel and get about 80 feet with about 7-8 pumps. Is there anything else I can do to make my darts go 100+ feet?
