very, very interesting modification. i have a question for all the maverick/nerf modders out there. if you replaced the stock springs with a more resistant spring will the dart shoot further?

ok, where can i buy 19/32"and 9/16" brass? I went to Home Depot the other day and I only found 1/2" and 3/4" brass. If you can give me some places to buy, it would be greatly appreciated.

I attempted to mod my mav and my NF. Both went really really bad. The mav won't fire. In the mav i replaced the stock springs with better ones and it won't fire. And in the nite finder i accidently got glue in the pump and accidently glued all the front parts together. Any one have suggestions on how i could revive the guns, or should i just trash them and go get new guns?

yeah sorry about that i do mean the plunger. The front parts I'm talking about are the pieces in the front that hold the spring and the air restrictor. If you can help in anyway possible it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I can't seem to find a digital camera around my house. Also I dont think crazy glue is the way to go for ANY nerf mods what so ever.

thanks for all the help, i took apart the mav toyed around with the barrel, where the problem was and i fixed it it still doesnt get up to stock range, but it shoots and there is still some things i have to do to it. So if anyone still wants to post helpful things about the NF that would be execellent.

I made Unknown's basic breech yesterdy. i Used 1" PVC and 1/2'" PVC. I decided to modify it further and made it clip/magazine compatable. would i need to make a seal for slide back over the covering before firing?

Hi, im looking for brass. I have used the search button and did follow topics, and the websites they yielded but could still not find brass. I have checked my local hardware stores and hobby shops, so if anyone could sell me some 17/32" and some 9/16" brass that would be excellent!

I need help to find plexiglass. Captainslug has a plastics place near him. Unfortunately i don't. Are there any Hardware stores besides Homedepot, Lowes, or Ace that i can buy Plastics at? Or can someone sell me some?

I did. The nearest plastics shop is about 45 minutes away from my house. I can't drive and i don't think my parents would be too thrilled about driving me up there.

You could go to a craft store and buy the folding cardboard used for presentations. They are only like 4-5 dollars each. If you wanted to make them stronger just tape like 2 or 3 together.

I did Forsaken Angel's Magstrike mod. I took out the mechanism that wont let the trigger be pulled unless there is a clip there. The clip wont advance up any more. If some one could post pictures of what is under the the green peice that protects the locking mechanism it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to put a Defender spring into my crossbow. It wouldnt fire at all, so i put the old spring back in and it still barely fires. I have to pull it back, fire than pull it back and fire again to make the dart go anywhere. From what i can tell the internals are fine, i checked out pictures of the insides here at the haven. I can't figure out what is going on with it. If anyone can help me that would be really excellent. I'd really not rather trash it becuase its my favorite gun and it cost me over 50 bucks. If any one can help that would be amazing. I do not have a camera to post picture of the innerds otherwise i would have, sorry. Thanks for your time.

The same exact thing is happening with my X-bow. I have a piece of 1/2" pvc coupled and it fires maybe 3-4 feet out of the barrel. I was told that it was barrel friction, what ever that means.

Hello again old friends. I am in need of a strong glue. Hot glue just won't do it any more. Gorilla glue I have reallu terrible results with. I have searched and came upon cxqw's favorite glue " JB weld" My question is where i can find this, or a more suitable glue. Thanks for the help in advance.
