Veet, were you rockin’ the melee? Hella!

Mess, any man who shits blood and leaves witnesses is solid in my book.

Funny you should use 'solid' and 'shits blood' in the same paragraph. :D

I think we have a winner. a bit over the 'reasonable' price margin, but nontheless, I would like to see if this would work...

What about 10 of these:

Now, what to do about the motor. now THAT I need ideas on.

What is the depth of the screws you used to screw the buckle into the body?

#285859 Minnesota Haloween Nerf Out

I am looking into the 34th's current mission capability, but I can promise nothing at this point.

#285908 Nerf Stampede - Voltage Increase / Rof & Firing Tests

Possibly related...the stock motor is rated at 6 volts. I am going to ax man soon, looking for a 12v and a 18v. which of these would perform better?

You guys are jerks. :D

My main concern at the moment is readying my main battle rifle.

#285917 Minnesota Haloween Nerf Out

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 23 September 2010 - 11:56 AM in Nerf Wars

Possible. I like the layout and familiarity of the Stampede, though. Putting a new motor in it today.

Are snaps magazine-fed?

I blame you, calling a magazine a clip. :D I will do my best to be there, with or without my chalk.

I blame you, calling a magazine a clip.

lol

Your right, I have been using incorrect terminology. But the whole damn internet calls them "clips" nowadays.

You should come over to one of our Modding pow-wows and we can help you build one.

I blame your sub-par keyboard.

I am actually using my shitty keyboard right now. The Model F is disassembled right now - I am adding keys to it.

You can thank video games for that.

I'm interested in your pow-wows.

Dude, just buy an old Casio 88key keyboard, midi plug it, and map each key to a command. it's been done. :D

A Hymn for MN nerfers:

So far away we wait for the day
For the lights are so wasted and gone
We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days
Through the fire and the flames… WE CARRY ON!!!

I am IN for teh W1N!!!

Dragonforce = FAIL

Unfortunately not attending.

#286318 Help With Stampede?

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 30 September 2010 - 11:44 PM in Modifications

The circled piece will probably turn up when the dog pushes out it's morning glory, and will most likely be chewed up and inoperable, so I am looking for a replacement or ideas on what to do here. Any and all input is welcome. Hasbro replacement part support probably doesn't want to hear that I have taken their blaster apart, so that's out of the question.

...And all they really need to do is post. :D

#286478 Help With Stampede?

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 03 October 2010 - 02:21 AM in Modifications

I wish it were that simple and that I had the tools and time to fully experiment with this.

Just screwing a washer onto it might work, but I'd have to cut it to not exceed the diameter of the chamber in any direction...I wish I had more than a dremel to work with. I believe, the piece was 1/4" thick, including the rubber stop on the catch side. I'll see what I can come up with.

Oh, and by the way, I'll be piping 19.2 volts through it's 6 volt motor when this is finished. Wish me luck.

That's the post damn post I've ever read...

...but money doesn't grow on trees. Yeah, it's only fifty, but I can't spare that.

Who could machine me one of these and how much?

#286622 Help With Stampede?

Well, after watching his shit closely over the past few days, the missing piece has turned up MIRACULOUSLY intact.

Thank you, everybody, for your input.

#286801 Nerf Stampede - Voltage Increase / Rof & Firing Tests

Possibly related...the stock motor is rated at 6 volts. I am going to ax man soon, looking for a 12v and a 18v. which of these would perform better?

6 volts? Wat? The Stampede operates at 9 volts stock.

The motor is rated at 6 volts. Assuming Hasbro used the same motor supplier for all the stampedes built thus far, every motor you find in every stampede should have "6 Volts" and an SLN on the side of it. A child could calculate 1.5x6=9.

Not to be rude, I haven't had my coffee yet.

Does anybody have some stefan-capable magazines or a large amount of darts that would work in a longshot? or a stampede, for that matter?

#287489 Minnesota Haloween Nerf Out

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 25 October 2010 - 01:39 PM in Nerf Wars

I'm at a 35% chance of attendance now, I am trying to get all the pieces in place to do this but lady luck ain't on my side...

#287498 Minnesota Haloween Nerf Out

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 25 October 2010 - 04:36 PM in Nerf Wars

Darts, Stampede and longshot compatible. everything else is taken care of.

I appreciate the offer, anyway.

#304949 HellaWeen Warfestravagasm 2011!

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 24 September 2011 - 12:33 PM in Nerf Wars

Well, Venom said he'd have a spare for me to use, so now all I need now is to attempt to unfuck my Stampede's internals, and maybe convert my magazines to stefan compatible. Oh, and ammo...damn.

#305055 Nerf Stampede - Voltage Increase / Rof & Firing Tests

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 27 September 2011 - 12:08 AM in Modifications

I am currently using a 19.2v drill battery to power it. Until I finish my output adjuster assembly for it, it will continue to jam and fail to cycle, no surprise there. The bigger problem right now, for me, is the gear slipping off the drive shaft of the motor. Has anybody else had this problem with lower currents, or am I about to herp a mad derp?

#305069 Stampede Half Gear missing teeth...

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 27 September 2011 - 04:08 PM in Modifications

Any ideas?

It's missing two teeth and it's obviously affecting the cycling of the weapon.

#306458 HellaWeen Warfestravagasm 2011!

Posted by themessiahpsg1 on 24 October 2011 - 01:06 PM in Nerf Wars

So, assuming your melee rules are airtight to those two options, gun taps are out of the question?

#306499 HellaWeen Warfestravagasm 2011!

Loaded as in having a round in the chamber, or just having the weapon cocked?
