Posted by nerfer34 on 25 January 2006 - 06:27 PM in General Nerf

Yes it's sometimes safe I'll agree.. but when the trigger is held down for a while it isn't safe

Do you plan to throw this?

#114147 Games Consoles Poll

Posted by nerfer34 on 02 July 2007 - 01:50 PM in Off Topic

Xbox 360. With the new madden coming out in August and Halo 3 coming out in September, MC should just start saying "can't touch this".

The wii has terrible graphics but is fun. Except you can't really play any sports games like they should be played, plus there certainly isn't any "Halo" on it.

I like to call it the one month system. It's fun for a month, then it dies.

PS3- well I guess everyone hates it. I've never played, but I hear its bad.

Just my opinion.

#121381 The Tools Of The Trade.

Yes this has been done before and even noobs aren't retarded. I think we all knew this....

If you're going to post this, atleast show SOME effort in making this topic....

What about hot glue, pipe cutters, glue, pliers, etape, etc

#173350 Difference Between 1st Gen Bbb And Reissue?

Posted by nerfer34 on 29 August 2008 - 10:15 AM in General Nerf

1st Gen is stronger. I have both right here with me. I actually am not sure if the 1st gen has a stronger spring because I haven't openned it up in years but I'm assuming it does.

I am also an indoor nerfer.

I put foam on the ends of my darts, so when it hits a wall it is silent, and NO damage is done at all.

#80056 Ebay People

Posted by nerfer34 on 15 April 2006 - 09:48 PM in Off Topic

That is EXACTLY what I thought UncleHammer. I doubt you can do anything but I've seen people saying that their First Shot gets 100 feet.

#80084 Ebay People

Posted by nerfer34 on 16 April 2006 - 09:10 AM in Off Topic

Ya Forsaken I agree. "super modified". They say with the AR removed and a new spring, their guns get 100 feet easy.

#95218 Stefan Weight Question

Posted by nerfer34 on 25 November 2006 - 09:09 AM in General Nerf

I use the dryer for my darts, Its by far the best method I've tried.

My darts are fine, they are striaght, holes centered, not slanted.

It's just the weight of the dart.

Do I need to add more?
Because 1/4 slingshot are pretty heavy....

#95280 Stefan Weight Question

Posted by nerfer34 on 25 November 2006 - 10:04 PM in General Nerf

Alrite I'll solve it somehow.

Thanks

#95230 Stefan Weight Question

I guess "corksscrew".

#95173 Stefan Weight Question

Posted by nerfer34 on 24 November 2006 - 05:03 PM in General Nerf

I just modded some new guns that are powerful. Sm 750, SM 1500, at2k, Nf with super spring replacement.

My darts were doing that spiral type thing and landed at around 35-60 feet depending on the gun. These ranes aren't good.

Then I used some 1/4" slingshot ammo and the same thing happened.

I am wondering what is going on?
When the dart spirals like that does that mean that the gun's force is too much for the dart causing it to go out of its path?
Thanks

#71671 Nitefinder Mod...

Posted by nerfer34 on 25 January 2006 - 07:04 PM in Modifications

OK I think you did a few things wrong
-First off ya I don't think playdoh was a good idea. A good Idea would be either to epoxy it or use superglue and then use hotglue to fill space then put a little electrical tape around it
- Secondly a barrel replacement is key to the nf mod. Grab some brass or even cpvc will help.

I like threads like this. Nice job on the mods and nice pics.

I love how I got shit on when I made a thread like this...

#73141 Sawtooth

Posted by nerfer34 on 14 February 2006 - 06:05 PM in Modifications

Welcome, work on the capitalization. To answer you question I haven't owned a sawtooth but every NERF gun can be oppened so either you don't see a few hidden screws or a part of the gun is glued shut(I.E the firefly) Take a flathead and pry, it should come off with ease!

#76315 Accesories, Accesories...

Posted by nerfer34 on 15 March 2006 - 05:16 PM in Modifications

You can pick upi cheap scopes at Walmart. BUT don't. Scopes don't belong on Nerf guns and they'll just mess you and the gun up.

#103052 Rapidtech200 Write-up

My Rf20 gets that ranges as an automatic.....

It did take a while to mod, but was worth it!

#143454 Recon Barrel Replacement Idea

Posted by nerfer34 on 02 March 2008 - 02:41 PM in Modifications

The barrel material obviously would have to be loose fot this to be functional.

I don't see this aiding the range of the Recon.

the Recon is too weak for the barrel extension that it comes with. but the barrel is too short with the pistol. We need to make a barrel in between the lengths.

#88307 Rf20 Trigger Fix

#86615 Crossbow Adhesive?!

Posted by nerfer34 on 06 August 2006 - 07:16 AM in Modifications

Yea, For hot glue sticks, I just bought the ones that are fast drying and are good on plastics.

#86586 Crossbow Adhesive?!

Posted by nerfer34 on 05 August 2006 - 06:32 PM in Modifications

BY anchoring the barrel he means gluing it permantly on. Like puggy said, PVC cement will do it. Its the strongest glue for plastics.

#117463 Sspb

Posted by nerfer34 on 28 July 2007 - 08:02 PM in Modifications

I bought a very well modded sspb off of frenzybob about 2 years ago. He modded this thing before it was even on the directory. He plugged the pump on it. Then I openned it up and unplugged the pump. I lost about 10' in range and the air didn't hold as long. I actually think plugging the pump makes a big differnce in guns like the sspb, SF, and ss2 like blister said.

#101606 Decryption For Dollars

I think we're gonna need a hint to figure this out.

#86680 At1k Mod

Posted by nerfer34 on 07 August 2006 - 10:42 AM in Modifications

With every mod people say their gun gets 50 foot ranges. THis things spring is tiny, A barrel replacment is not gonna give it 50'.

#76202 Ringing Guns

Posted by nerfer34 on 14 March 2006 - 10:12 PM in General Nerf

Ya I know what your saying it's like a recoil. That only happens to my modded NF. Mine doesn't last for 5 seconds though. There isn't much to do to fix it but try one of the "silencer mods".

Posted by nerfer34 on 04 April 2006 - 01:38 PM in Homemades

Carrtoon I was wondering what T connector I should get. The tubing I bought is 1/4 inch so should I but 1/4 inch T connector.

ANYONE PLEASE HELP WITH THIS. Also I think I will be doing the Air stock to my Splitfire. Since the Splitfire has "2 shots system( like the double shot) . So is there a possible way I can divide the air into two shots?

#78669 Making A Stock That Holds Air Guide-write Up Type

Posted by nerfer34 on 03 April 2006 - 10:40 PM in Homemades

OK I find this a fairly difficlut task to build a stock to hold air. I want to make almost a serperate air tank inthis stock. Today I went to Home depot and picked up
-valve-3$
pvc 2$
1/4 in tubing 2$
I forgot the T connector...I know. Where do they sell these? At HOmedepot? Which section?

Tomorrow I will be posting pictures and making a write up. I will also begin this project tomorrow. I may need some help by carrtoon or other members. I will GREATLY GREATLY appreciate this help thank you.
