Acquired at the March 27th MN war, now it is completed. 5 ft hopper clips with 4ft long PETG barrels on a double action OMFGHAMP piston system. This thing kicks ass.

Should zip ties and hot glue not work, try JB-WELD. I've used that stuff numerous times on many applications and its held up every time.

E-tape and screws will be your friend. You only really need to glue/goop the front bushing/coupler in anyway, as you can just unscrew the back and pull out the mechanism behind the SNAP.

Think of it this way with the kits; it will encourage people to try out their own mods and ideas. People swap out springs, add longer barrels, and when a person has a whole spare set of internals sitting around, people will mess around with those to see what they can do.

There is a place here in DeKalb that does T-shirts and the like. If I get all the shirt info (sizes, designs, numbers, etc. ) I can talk to them and possibly have them print up the shirts.

Hasbro measures maximum ranges by angling the blasters and from what I've been reading angled shots are actually really close to their claims. Anyone with proof feel free to correct or back me.

Marshmallows are great spray weapons. Grab a handful of them and toss them at a group of zombies and you'll get at least one of them, assuming they don't scatter to avoid the throw.

I have to throw my two cents in here. I ran the HvZ at NIU for its entire span there and was the first "superhuman" of the club. Translation being I always made it out alive, even when I had a whole horde of Zombies (or zoombies in some cases) coming after me (happened on more than one occasion).
My standard loadout was my modded longshot with an extra clip with modded streamlines (I filled in the hole in the tip, greatly improved accuracy) and a side arm, usually a maverick with the AR's removed, firing screamer darts.
For missions I crammed on as much as I could carry. My idea of reloading on the fly was to switch weapons, so it wasn't uncommon to see me with 5+ guns on me, plus marshmellows and extra clips. Needless to say, I didn't move fast, but zilled zombies by the hundreds.
Since this was before raider, I saw a lot of Rf20s, tech tommy 20's and Magstrikes. High ROF is key in large zombie invasions, as well as good running shoes. You will do plenty of running.

I can see in darkened areas for HvZ in campus settings or indoor wars with the lights out that something like this could be handy. Scenario specific of course, and defiantly not something I'd set out to buy if I had other things to buy, but a neat little find. Retarded? No. Niche. Quite.

Nice! The very first NERF gun I modded was my longshot Elza which has a similar system to load except that the lever is on the outside with the pivot point being where the bipod was. Once I get my camera working I'll post a picture to better explain it.

First and formost, I hate my current car, the whole reason that I couldn't be their for most of the war. However:

Less than one week out till the war and I just want to say that I will have stuff to sell. Some blasters but also for those in the melee business (mostly the WI and IN guys) I will have a TON of melee weapons that I have no need for and would like to get rid of.

- 2 Axes $25 each
- Several swords of various sizes - $15 to $25 each
- A Korean style Katana - $30
A blaster list and prices will be up in the next day or two.

I can verify this. Incest is a lot more common than previously thought and is most common with brother/sister or brother/brother or sister/sister relationships...Yeah. He and I are brothers, so that would be rather strange. Just saying.

I'll do my damnest to make it to the war.Just PARKOUR to the war...Speaking of issues popping up at the last minute, my car suspension decided to rust out and fall apart on me so while I may show up Saturday (I'm going to do my best) it won't be until much later, if at all.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm the one who fell out the tree. Twice. Nice curve to run up however I could not get the speed I needed to stay up the tree.
The war was a lot of fun, I look forward to the next war and wars around the Chicago area.
Pros:
-Got to meet a TON of new people
-Discovered my lever action longshot is STILL something to be feared
-Bombardment with said longshot during CTF was quite fun
-Actually fielding all of my nerf guns with friends of mine to prove even the simple mods kick ass much ass as the tough ones
-Overall having a lot of fun with good people who enjoy the hobby and sport
Cons:
-Too long between rounds
-More game options
-Honesty at times could have been much better

I got my sample pack a while ago and got around to making a couple of the darts which (using the full length foam) did NOT fire out of my hoppered +bow at all.

Did you have to cut the foam at all to fit the hopper? In the video the foam looks pretty long, and in my experience hoppers tend to only accept < 1.5" stefans
I've gotten regular streamlines to fire out of a hoppered +plus bow (8.5 inch 17/32" brass barrel), so I doubt any foam cutting would be required.

EMT bends quite well, it just doesn't snap back well.LOL, really? Last time I check EMT doesn't bend too well.How about just using the steel EMT conduit for the bow's arms rather then using it to reinforce them?
This just cleared up a bunch of questions I had regarding how this thing was built. Now to build my own.
