Sweet! I brought it because I wasn't sure if there would be any dry place to sit, but the benches ended up being fine and I totally forgot that I had the chair at all. I'm pretty sure the shotblast belongs to Hydro cannon kid.

I just got home and realized that I left my blue fold-up chair at the war site. Did anyone pick up a long, blue bag from under one of the picnic tables? If someone can find it and hold onto it, I can give you $5 for your trouble at the next war. Love everything else today, the weather, the turnout, it was all awesome.

So, I was able to re-arrange my schedule and will be coming! The weather appears to have also taken a turn for the better, with no rain until later in the evening. It won't be sunny, but will be dry and warm.

I am a maybe at this point.

I feel that Babbage is more balanced in objective gametypes (specifically carpe, VIP, and territories) while Bicentennial gets better straight up deathmatches. I think it's easier to make hits in deathmatches at Bicentennial - there are less routine trees to provide everyone with cover. At Babbage, you get more stalemates as people go tree to tree and avoid the open. However, those trees make for excellent objective gameplay because 3 sides have good options for attack and defense. Bicentennial is better when there's been rain, since it has sand rather than mud. Judging from my dart bags, it also returns more darts, since there were no leaves and the grass was short. I can't really judge which one scales better. Babbage is fun with about 16 people, but I don't know if there's ever been 24 there before. We can expand it into the second tree area, but there's not too much to do in the field. Bicentennial could have room to expand down the path near the woods, but I don't know what is back there. It also has a problem that the cars are parked right along the trees to the left, which makes carpe difficult since you don't want to shoot in that direction on defense.

Lucy is too busy, it will just be me. BTW, as always I want to trade for water guns...if you have CPS, I have AT2Ks and a couple AT3Ks...if you have larger CPS, I have an old style SM 1500 and a leaking SM 3000.

I still had fun despite like half the people bailing due to the rain.

Highlights:

. No snow on the ground in NJ! Instead of losing darts, the rain made it much easier to find them
. Rocking the single barrel SNAP for almost every round
. Taking on hoppers and 1v3, 1v4 situations with a single barrel
. Meeting a couple new guys
. Getting my KF Ball Blaster into more capable hands. I intend to put that monster draw and perfectly fitting plunger tube to good use...

I'm considering doing a 2-barrel, pullback Speed loader round or two plus objectives based on that. No pump action, no air guns. Anything that can hit 90+ with a speed loader would probably be best.

Would anyone be apposed to this?

Wow, that just MADE this war for me. I'll definitely be there if I'm back from a cousin's wedding by then, not 100% sure on the timing. Even if my flight lands on that Friday night, it's on, wouldn't miss the nostalgia for anything. I might even try to get my Maximizer fixed for this.

Won't be able to attend a war on the 28th, though.
