#83587 Lazy-mans Clip

Well... I haven't been contributing to the comunity lately so I have decided to add my clip system. I call it the lazy-mans clip because it is kind of a knockoff of ompa's breach system. let me show you...

Instead of having a bolt, you just push the brass infront forword and back to reload (by the way, its a gravaty fed system). I didnt show it in the picture but on the back of the clip it has a coupler so you can attach it to any gun you want (as long as you put a pvc stub on it) so it is pretty flexable.

The clip itself is made out of layered balsa wood, I cut a slit down both of the sides so you can see how much ammunition you have left. Here is a the clip.

WOW, I love that show. That is so awsome that you found that. That would have been funny to see what they would have used the mod for. Maby to mod there guns and shoot eachother. :P

What i think you could do is add little 1/2 inch pieces of foam backer rod into the barrels and then add the rice so the seal would be good, and you also wouldnt need any screans, just an idea.

rylundo, I had that same problem. what I did to fix it was I hot glued the pieces together and then I glued it back on to the pluger.

Hi, I was sitting around one day and it hit me why not use the main casing of the maverick and replace the plunger with a night finder plunger, This is what I got.

No I have not tryed this but I will once I get another night finder and maverick...
One problem I ran into is the fireing macanism. I will be tring to find a way to fix this soon.Tell me what you think of my idea. :) it should come out somewhat like this.

No I didn't use a template I just looked at my maverick and my nightfinder and drew them on the computer in paint. :ph34r: I was going to just use my broken maverick and buy a new nightfinder but I got my nightfinder to work today! B) So I will try to do this mod once I get the cash.

Yes I know i'm a noob, but I was wondering. What is the diference betwen pvc and cpvc. I want to know becouse I can't find any brass anywhere I look and my local home depot had cpvc and pvc. I hered that they both work well but what is the diference? :P

This is my horrible job of trying to reinforce the thing i'm talking about. I think I used too much super glue.

The wierd gray thing i used to reinforce the thing was the thing that holds the barrel from coming out too far.

At first I tryed to take the part that stops the barrel from coming out too far.I super glued that to the back of it but when it dried and I coxed it it just came off. :cry: Please help me.

Oh no! Ater I tryed to fix it I put it back together and the thing that coxs the gun broke. You know the thing that the meatle rod thing pulls back. it just broke off when I tryed to cox it! :cry: I tryed to glue it back on with this super glue that I found in my dad's train set box and after I put it back together and tryed to cox it again the thing just came off... Please can anyone help me find a way to reinfoce it? Please :nugget:

BTW Love, only 40'? My blowgun goes much further.

Wow, So dose mine and it's just a piece of pvc thats a little over a yard with some ammo holders on it. I can get ranges of about 70' max, But I have not yet compleatly range tested it becouse it's been to windy.

Ok now to get back on topic. When I went to home depot today they didnt have and pvc the right size :cry: . So I was wondering dose anyone have any ideas on how to make something simular(don't know how to spell right) to the pvc that goes over the half inch pvc for the shell blowgun?

I am not sure of how actually practical it would be, since you would have to deal with the different pieces.

On a totally unrelated note, I found some non n-strike nite finders at a toys backwards r us today. Rad.

Hi, I had an idea afer fideling(dont know how to spell that) with my newly made blowgun and my maverick. At first I thought of taking out the plunger of my maverick and puting pvc where the plunger used to be and puting more pvc on the part where the dart comes out of the gun. It would look somwhat like this...

I also had the idea of having a shell for the blowgun. It would be a normal blowgun cut in half and using a pvc size that can fit over the normal half inch pvc and using the half inch pvc making the shells. here is a stinky picture of what I am trying to say.

I just started to nerf and my first gun i got was a nf and was instantly hooked. Well now for the modding part. besides brass what is the next best barrel replacement? I can't find any brass and home depot and thats the biggest place around that i would guss has it.
