I've been wanting to post this for awhile now so here it goes.

This is my small but rapidly growing nightfinder collection.



All guns made by Diamondback, (thanks bro)!

First off my orignall Nitefinder.

These guns are also my primaries, (thats how much I <3 Nitefinders).

PETG'd SM1500 with PVC pump grip




In terms of my progress with the rear loading SM1500 (my other 1.5k), all I have left to do is cut the dart slot...

NiteFinder with the standard mods: AR removal, re-sprung, plunger rod / handle / head reinforcement, added catch spring, and 2" of 17/32" shoved down the bore. There's enough room for 9/16" as well, hence the extend-a-barrel. Same as the SwitchShot, in other words. Only new addition are half-inch long rings of OMC/PETG over the lens adjustment arms.



The extend-a-barrel doesn't work for many Streamlines - they have some spilled over glue where the head meets the body. It works for stefans very nicely. It's made from the LongShot's extend-a-barrel. The end is filed down to mate with the NF's muzzle cleanly. Because of the PETG rings, it can't be mistaken for stock, unlike the SwitchShot.

The putty along the plunger rod and filling in the pull-handle is painted Traffic Orange, so it looks passably 'normal'. No paintjob planned - this is an office toy, nothing more.

A LnL modded by Merz for MSDFS, and now is in my hands.

Tweaked the barrel a bit, made a better plunger seal. The seal's really great, the stock spring can't push the plunger to hit the end of the plunger tube without the bungee. It needs a new spring.




Beauty of a paintjob thanks to Merzlin.

This after hours of work it is finaly finished. A leaky tank and a busted turret later its finaly done.

I used this recently after a bunch of cleaning up and some slight refining. Now, normally, during blaster-construction/modification, I would finish up a NF, buy some more glue and slap in on, but frankly, my parents are controlling my costs and overhauling usually ends up in failure for me. Though slapping an NF under this isn't exactly that, adding a 2k on the side like Dayko (I think) did would, especially getting it to stay on.

Explanation aside, I am usually conservative with my useful blasters, like my Eliminator, Crossfire, Pistol Splat, and Nite Finders.
